Every time i want to play in LW's there no players im gonna call players every time i see 0 players just for u guys to know i hate seeing the server empty

The subjective empty server problem:

*server is empty
*user opens client and sees: server is empty
*user thinks: server is empty = boring (which is actually true)
*user does not join server because it's boring
*propably many users do this ^
*if they would all have joined server would be full.

I've experienced that effect very often.
Most players just search for some quick fun, because they just have some spare time.
They will obviously choose a full server rather then a empty one.
Normally in that moment, focused on the self-entertainment, no-one bears in mind that there may be players worldwide searching for the same purpose.
That's why regular players are so important for servers, because they most propably will join regardless the playercount.

Maybe a change of playground (from Las Venturas to Los Santos) will help. Oh wait, I already suggested that before and nobody cared. Now why should I care about an empty server that doesn't care about my funlevel.

@ Enzo

You can't seriously expect regulars to stay regular in this scenario although what you said sounds adorable. The server needs changes. Period.

yes that's right. what i said was ment more in general, not exclusively bound to littlewhitey's.

I honestly do not see any changes in the future yet, and i doubt that changes will have any effect after such long time.

As you said regulars do not stay regulars under the given circumstances, and how do players become regulars? because they like the server, it brings fun, and they are a integrated part of the community. Regulars are gone -> no community, even if they come back for an update there's no community left to integrate in. They'd have to build a new community. And atm i really don't see much people willing to try and do so.

That's how it seems to be from my point of view. Even if we still have 20 players online on sundays - it's dead.

LW's needs alot of changes, but as i see, Developers gived up .. i mean they doesn't care anymore ..  :'(

@pawn: developers giving up does not imply that they don't care anymore. Read what they wrote: They gave up because management didn't seem to care anymore.
If you'd worked really hard on a script and no-one cares that doesn't mean you don't care anymore.

Not gonna happen.

It has been tried to change the server probably about 3 times now. First Simon, then slice, then Simon and Faraday.

I got no hope in/for the person who is next in line for a new LW LVDM.

As what pawnfox said Developers, Management and most of the admins simply dont care anymore. Some of these actually told me on IRC like 1 or 2 years ago that they don't care about LW anymore.
