Oh. Wasn't aware that the IRC applet was hardwired to use bananaphone. I will try to get Woet to fix it.

Yes, yes it does.
MTA:Race does not work on Vista, despite what was said about 1.1.2 and despite the fix that was to come out after a few days (this was said atleast a month ago, btw).
Sorry, I feel your pain as I'm on Vista x64 too.
I have to dualboot just for this game, an annoyance I'd rather be without.

Luckily, dualboot doesn't take that long to set up if you feel like giving that a go.

That 'fix' will only make the map editor work. Connecting to a server won't work, because MTA:Race needs client.dll for that.
