I format my pc with windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and windows 10 pro 64 bit every 1-2 weeks, so there is nothing to show as I have very less apps installed
I never thought i'd see such thing.
I don't have an ancient computer with Windows XP installed, like you or most of the people playing here. It takes roughly 20 minutes on my PC.

you got offended bro?  ??? Sorry then,i didn't mean to offend you.I just said that people don't do that generally!

I had a laptop with Windows Me operating system, 256mb ram, 40gb HDD and a built-in graphics card 64mb memory. Ancient. <-

There are many things you can do to save yourself the time of formating the hard drive:

-Two partitions in one drive and restart your pc every time you want to switch.
-Two separated drives and plug/unplug the one you want.
-Saving a clean disk image of each windows installation and just copy&paste it whenever you want to swap between them

I've been switching from win 7 to 10 the last three years because of many reasons but not so often as you (probably every six months) so formating wasn't an issue for me. But, installing all of my programs and configurations every 2 weeks could drive me crazy regardless of having the time to do it or not. That's why i recomend you to consider one of the options above if you haven't already unless you really enjoy doing that for real.

Thanks Spitfire. I'm thinking of plugging in a Secondary Hard Drive for Win 10  ;D

Sorry for talking off topic but I think in windows XP you get more fps on games so why you all keep latest versions of windows (7,8,10)?
