Suspect Cheating Kicking
« on: February 19, 2009, 05:54:29 PM »
I get kicked automatically by this script once every 2 days or so. I have nothing modified of any sort and nothing special running in the background.
As the majority of players doesn't get this kind of behaviour it must be something wrong on my side. It started a month ago or maybe 2 months. Have MTA 1.1.

No computer or software upgrades done

No NOCD even?
I had this problem some time ago, though I got kicked way more often.
What has happened was that my water.dat had corrupted itself, yes, it corrupted without me touching it.
At first, it started with me being unable to see when I was in a tunnel, a week or so later and I got kicked every time I tried to enter.

If you have the DVD, do a clean reinstall, Uninstall, delete folder, install.

That happened to me, but only once.
You belong to the two bagged types. A bag is needed for my head, maybe on yours being tears out.

Did you try a GTA reinstall? :o The server has been known to kick people when it's being DoS-attacked, but then it usually affects most players in the server. Is it only on specific times, or all the time?

raz0: it kicked me 10 min after you asked me on irc ;D

I don't detect any pattern...random I guess.
I'm to lazy to reinstall it...it's not that often so I can live with it  ;D

I assume this is different from the usual timeout kicks you get if you play for more than 40-50 minutes in a row.

yes I was:

[19:51] <Echo> *** MCvarial has been kicked from the game

I have no idea what caused it, but I was lagging like hell at that moment, for no reason...
