This is a mod requested by 55ine. The aim of the mod is to decrease the graphics significantly whilst giving a performance boost. This mod is useful for anyone who is trying to use a toaster to run vcmp, a tamagotchi or has a PC that belongs in a museum by todays standards.

*** WARNING *** - THIS MOD WILL MAKE YOUR GAME LOOK LIKE GARBAGE BUT MAY IMPROVE PERFORMANCE. PLEASE NOTE THAT AFTER PLAYING WITH THIS MOD FOR 30 MINUTES YOU MAY GET THE SUDDEN URGE TO POUR BLEACH OVER YOUR EYES (NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS MOD).
Installation instructions:
--- TAKE A BACKUP BEFORE DOING THIS ---
1) Inside the archive: Extract both folders (data, models) and both files (gta-vc.exe, lowdistance.exe) into your "Grand Theft Auto Vice City" folder. Say Yes to Overwrite when asked.
2) Install the latest version of Cheat Engine (https://www.cheatengine.org/downloads.php)
3) Open up lowdistance.exe
4) Launch GTAVC and use Alt+1, Alt+2 or Alt+3 to select your draw distance value.
*** Make sure that game_antialias is set to 0 in vc-mp config (/setconfig game_antialias 0) then restart game ***
Features:
1) Low resolution textures (8x8) with the exception of HUD elements which remain as normal.
2) Modified particles .cfg with certain effects which are known to cause lag disabled such as: ped footdust effect, heli smoke and some other smoke effects.
3) A trainer included that allows you to set the draw distance lower than the minimum allows ingame, there is 3 different options present.
*** I have tested this on vc-mp and it does not really provide any advantages in terms of gameplay. Enemy players and enemy cars will still load at the same distance as normal and will be able to attack you despite your potato draw distance ***

@Hanney, I'm not able to run the mod. My loading bar is stuck whenever I run the game.
I've installed the latest version of Cheat Engine.
Tried to extract the (models, data) folders and even files.

Same, I've tried to test it with multiple sources of game. But it doesn't work with any of them.
It just gets stucked somewhere at the loading bar.

Oh thank you now I can play finally get 60 FPS in LWs ;D
On a side note: I'm going to make a topic highlighting a lot of mods which make the game visually pleasing without compromising much on performance so stay tuned for that I guess.

We need version two because most of the PCs can't run this mod.. the loading bar stuck issue please..
