Re: fix your lag........... :)

Go into your advanced options menu and turn on the frame limiter. Then type ingame ''/fpslimit 47'' for example. Now the maximum fpx you can get it 47. You cant strafe with the deagle if you have more fps then 47 (or 49?).

that helped me solve my problem, i usually had 25 fps on samp and i thought it was vista's fault ;x

BUMP!
@ /fpslimit
first step: check wether your fps rate higher or lower your screen refresh rate (monitor frequency)
usually fps-rates higher then monitor refresh rate make no difference at all, so it should be applicable to limit them to the frequency value.
example: if you got a refresh rate of 70 Hz, set your /fpslimit to 70.

still lags?
scientists are pretty much concerned, that the human eye can't take differences beetween fps-rates that are higher than 40 FPS.
Tho i had the feeling it makes a difference for me, it would be applicable to limit the FPS to 30-40, that's still good playable.

for monster laggers: 25, but not less, less sucks. A new computer game these days must at least bring constant 25 fps before any producer will decide to publish it. And that has reasons.

Hope i could help, bai.

FPS 38 is standard for RW fights as far as I know. And yes, it makes a difference in aiming. I could easily play on higher fps, but I lame (even more than usually ::) )

Frequent lag causes:

  • More then one computer connected to your same internet (for example if your bro is watching porn and your sister is downloading music from their computers but you share the same connection).

The "scientist" that came up with this is just as much (little) of a scientist as i am. Compare 100 fps to 40 fps for yourself, use your eyes and see that it's a huge difference!
Just had to point this out, the rest of your post made sense

True, i've checked this later but i completely forgot about the post here.
Well since technology changes, science does too. There was a time when 'scientists' said that the human eye can't see more than 25fps.
