Highlighted text in right click menu

I am getting a very light highlighted color / grey(blue) on the text whenever i point items in right click menu. Have a  look the image below



Although when i disable AMD graphics, that highlight doesn't show up. So, i guess there is issue with switchable graphics settings. Does anyone know how to fix this ?

I have the latest driver installed. Also, there was no such issue while using windows 7.

Specs:
Windows 8.1
Lenovo G50
AMD Radeon R5 M230
HDD: 1 TB
RAM: 8GB

My guess would be to update the video card drivers to the latest version.

I think there is no problem with the hardware the problem might be the software
There would be some kind of software issues.
Try to fix them up by either re installing windows 8.1 or move back to windows 7
