GRAND PRIX season finished!
RACES
Every week, there will be 1 race, exactly this order:

Race length depends of the length of 1 lap and varies 2 (only AASA) - 5 laps.
Dates will be specified.
POINTS
Points will be given after every race to everyone!
Points are following:
1st place - 15pts
2nd place - 7pts
3rd place - 3pts
All other participants* - 1pts
*Players who started the race and are still in a race when top3 finishes
RULES
The basic rules are the LW server rules - no ramming, jacking, shooting at race start. The race start order will be sorted out as every other race' order - who arrives 1st, can pick the best place etc. Nobody is allowed to have a surfer on his roof nor a passenger! Since there are 11(!) different races, an admin might not be online all the time, so there might be roadblocks, race ruiners etc.
If a racer teams up with roadblockers/ruiners - he will be disqualified (as "block other racers, let me through" - if anything is suspicious, admins will check pm logs).
Every player can choose his own vehicle except "Nx supercharged infernus" (either it works or not) and is allowed to change vehicles during a race (as a normal race).
Cars can be modified in Transfender as in a normal race (Nitro, Hydraulics, etc.)
Only your best 10 races will count.
When players have same amount of points, the player with more higher places will be counted as higher position.
PRIZES
Every stage top3 winners will win the amount of money that the race is hosted with (announced 10min before race start). By the end of the season, the player with the most points will be awarded with ingame money (all top3 winning prizes are with atleast 7 digits - exact amounts to be specified).
The Grand Prix winner will be awarded with the special title on his profile on forums (this is still being negotiated with admins) and a surprise award ingame!

Wow, this is a dream come true for me - please add me! I'm certain that I will perform poorly (I race poorly under pressure), but man it will be very fun. I'm excited to see who the champion will be! I have a few questions...
1. When will the races take place? I think it'd be helpful to post the exact time zone/time that the race will be taking place, so that players can calculate what time that means for where they live and be present. Saturday evenings would be a neat time to race.
2. How will race-ruining conspiracies be investigated? PMs are a good idea, but I suggest also comparing the IP addresses of two suspicious players. If they're having a LAN party or something, they don't need to type. There's also the Skype risk - players can chat on Skype. Perhaps we can kindly request that all race ruining in general (Rustlers, Dump trucks, etc) not happen.
3. What if there's a tie between the two best racers (or more)?

Dude,this is awesome! I used to race a lot in many different games,but never preferred racing in SA, cause I never got how it works. I'd love to participate in all of them, sadly won't be at home for 3 weeks (starting from 28-29th July) and that being said, won't be able to take a place in every race. Will reply when I get home (in 3 days).

Same answer as above. Weekends is the most active period indeed but then again lots of ppl are outside on friday/saturday evenings - partying, clubing, etc - summer...

Yes, when there are any admins online at the same time, Ill ask them to deal with race ruiners. If admins are not online, all racers will have to be ready for blocks etc.

I added this point in 1st post aswell - If the players have same amount of points, it will be decided, who has higher position finishes more (example if u have finished in 1st place 3 times and I have finished in 1st place 2 times and we have same points, u will be ahead of me)

I removed QP and enkei as they requested but as I said in 1st post, if you are not on the list and will participate and receive points, you will be added to the leaderboard automatically so dont worry if u cant make it to some races, im pretty sure u are not the only ones 8)
Added SKY as a judge - u can still race if u want.
The dates will be chosen pretty randomly yes - the 1st race is happening this soon cause i wanted to get it started this week as promised and im not around this weekend.
I'll try to set the races to weekends too but that doesn't mean all races will happen on saturdays/sundays.

Thanks all for racing! Was really fun and tension was in the air before start. We had far over 10 racers and the difficult track was too much for some of us. Glad to see lots of new names and some exciting race.
I updated the 1st post leaderboard, everyone who was still racing when top3 finished, recieved 1 point. If i missed anyone or calculated some points wrong, please let me know.

Good race gentlemen! I was a victim of the race-start-cluster-fuck, so I had to swap vehicles half-way through lap 2 unfortunately. I also got rammed head-on three times. This was a tough race because the track overlapped so many times, so other racers were divebombing straight at you in the opposite direction.
In the end, I'm glad I chose a Sandking as my vehicle. Rockhardy and Zeus, do you feel your NRGs were the right decision?

yea, because the track is short and there's always a chance that you would blow up your car due to crashing. Also, there were many racers and as you mentioned the race start ramming. To avoid all that i chose NRG for that track.

Yes, the NRGs were pretty good, fell off a couple of times but the acceleration made up for the downtime. Awesome race.

Good race everybody! I was really hoping some other players would be around for this one. Players like BikeDriver, Spitfire, Bikerr, Seytan, Enzo and any other good drivers I'm forgetting. I hope this Grand Prix doesn't simply turn into a duel between Zeus, rockhardy, Zaibatsu and I. Personally speaking, any special reward given to me (in the unlikely event that I win the series) would not feel deserved, as I know that there are many other great drivers that never even participated.

Yeah enkei i was hoping to see more known racers aswell but you shouldnt be that harsh on yourself - everyone are having same opportunities to join, its not your fault they decide not to. U are from america, zeus from europe and rockhardy from india - all different parts of world and youve all made it to both races.

LOTS of racers at race start, so a messy start was expected, many racers got disqualified in 1st lap, but it was really cool race imo. Some people tried to ruin the race by driving towards the racers with high speed continuosly but fortunately they failed :)
Also nice to see a new racer and already in top3 - Leytone.

I was there til the 2min to race start notification and then my pc restarted itself 6 times. So i missed the race and missed the chance to overview the race (who won, who was still racing, who was ruining - etc).
I heard the race was a bit messy - ppl started to fight near the start and so on... I hope the admins that were there, will take some actions about the ruiners...
1st enkei, 2nd [Nx]Antiform 3rd [InC]S0n1c - 1st place is getting a secure lead but the battle for 2nd place is getting hotter... too bad rockhardy wasnt here today.
I repeat again, I have no logs, no overview about todays race so I might miss someone from the leaderboards points - post here and it will be fixed.
Next race is our beloved AASA. Classic race, I hope to see LOTS of racers there, good luck 8)

Finally I could enjoy racing without having pc problems :)
4 guys got a decent lead after start: enkei, antiform, negative, zaibatsu. Unfortunately Antiform timed out and was disqualified, Negative crashed and also experienced some disturbing from a plane that was observing a race. Enkei was far gone for me (made mistakes in SF both laps tbh). In general was nice race, too bad neno crashed in 1st straight and started shooting racers after that :/
Next race will be real challenge: Offroad Challenge!!!

You are right it was a very hard track but Akash shouldn't be given any points since he could not finish the race in time before it was automatically finished. Just because he is your friend that doesn't mean he can get free points. Of course this applies if you want your event to be fair, otherwise you can give points to anyone you want.

A race with only 4 players starting turned out to be very intense until enkei had to leave on 3rd lap. At start there was a battle for 1st place with me and sonic but then he crashed, eventually enkei caught up to me but crashed too and had to leave the server then :(

Unexpectedly i made it to the race but my pc crashed before race start and couldnt participate :/
It was a tight race for the 1st place between neno and rockhardy (the final gap was 0.206 sec) and a fight for the 3rd place where kibo, drow and r0tation were always in different positions different laps.

It was really nice clean race imo. The race was totally controlled by rockhardy from start to finish - like L.Hamilton controls F1 stages. There were no ruiners and it was a cool race.
BUT most importantly - look at the leaderboard (!) rockhardy has taken the gap with leader enkei down to 4 points only!!! This means whoever from them finishes ahead the last stage, wins the Grand Prix!!!! What an end to a fascinating season could we witness.
No secret, the last stage is the most difficult - therefore it will start when all our leaders are there! That said, enkei and rockhardy please post here the times when you can participate.
The culmination will be thrilling, I'm sure! Good luck 8)

I'll NOT be able to race this Saturday because I'm covering a shift at work. Sunday I can, but only if it's before 16:00 your time, like most of the races I've done so far. I can usually race during the week, but it's risky because I drive to business for work, and if your time overlaps with an appointment, I can't.

Well yeah i wanted hardy n enkei both to race but since enkei confirmed the suitable time and aryan announced it hours before start, it would be unfair to hardy if we cancel these results, so its official: rockhardy is the Lw grand prix champion!
Ill make sure u guys recieve prizes once i get to my pc.
