OK,
I'm new to the server, and as soon as I logged in for the first time here, people were always talking shit after they killed me or when I kill them... "Nab" etc..., (when actually they had just lame killed me or it had been a gf) or when I killed them.
Now I dunno, why aren't people welcoming to the new guy, why all the hate?
I try to be friendly with peeps, but most of the time I get blanked :/
I admit I flame but ONLY after someones been a dick to me by talking shit and therefore pissing me off and only at those people. And yeah OK I admit that I shoot anything that moves, tag or no tag, and that I have no remorse about killing with my sawnies and tecs, (it is a DM server after all...), but... at least I don't db hardly ever, and I don't heli kill, and with people that have no spawn weapons I'll give a fair fight with a DEagle (unless they start to run away). But really, I have no idea where all the hate is comin' from. Is it 'cos I'm new and have some skill at fighting, and like it? ???
LWs is a great server, very fun, and the best one imo, but I really don't understand where all the hate is coming from, and it would be nice to make some buddies or gang mates..

Its a hidden but undeniable reason, Ever since spawn weapons were put in, it seems a lot of "new" players have been doing one thing: DB+noobkills... to me, it seems once you kill a new player, he comes back with unlimited tec-9 flying out the window or heli blades whirring... THEN it seems pro/semi-pro players starts copying them, at which point i get pissed and start repeated-killing/attempting-killing them and calling em noob every time they die....

yhea if only the newbies just figure out how to get money wich isnt that hard and just buy spawn weapons and freaking aim the way its sopposed to and you will be ok
when i came here i didnt db all i did was get my ass kiled xD then i saw some other players like [OcB]BiG_Sm0k3 xD! and how they aimed and i tried it and walla i do better know 8)

Even if it was a tank versus deagle, as long as nothing is used that the other can not use ingame, it's fair.
Might be 'unfair' in moralistic points of view, but you can't expect others to think/handle alike nor can you use this as an excuse in my opinion.
Furthermore, I think the amount of 'flamers' compared to the amount of players online is pretty minimal (or things should have changed drastically).
You can ignore it -> they'll eventually get bored of it or just remain embarassing themself in the long run.
You can report it when it's going too far. -> if the admin/mod agrees he'll be taken care of some way.
You can flame back -> lowering to some level, can be fun at times, but is rather 'sad' too.
You can make a topic about it -> try to make a change/aim for debate/aim for props since it's a cool brave story

Ye its pissing me off when I kill someone and I see "Miczi nub/ fu/ motherfucker/etc.etc. I don't mind if it a nothing meaning to me noob, who plays first time and every 1k is a lot for him. But mostly I'm beeing flamed by members of real clans.
I have to admit, when someone dbs me sometimes Im say "nice nab skills" or something like this, but nothing else. The other strange thing is that many ppl flame you, after they kill you. If they killed you, they shouldn't be angry so I don't see the reason for flaming there, lol.

even on sunday we barely get over 50 players. something must happen or the server will surely die or be completly boring really soon... think about that scott and all the other lamers. keep on ur behaviour and u will have to find another server to play on pretty soon.

You mentioned the other day GamerX, well it's full of lamers there, but the reason it's so full is because from the start you have so man y things to do. The only real reason I think lw's isn't as popular is because of how you start.. with a deagle and 500$ and if you're lucky in a good spawn point.
You know, I hate getting killed by running weapons but that doesn't mean I have to be a total asshole to the people who use them against me. I don't know you irl, but next time, if you want to be so 'direct' you should at least look a little more out of the picture, think about all the facts.

I hate the two, jaja but before I was friendly with Scott, until it became unbearable.
But something is right with Bikerider, now that the LW has become more empty, it costs a lot to have good fights, and someone comes along to ruin it, really, which is very irritating.
Personally I'm just going to LW to have fun, but most of all to have good / fun fights, but when Scott, to bother, a person goes from being a fun time to be a tedious and time to remove the urge to play, it's fun for one, but it becomes annoying to others.

I luv Scott, even tho he helikills me like 5 times a day AND I am in the same squad with him. I really do laugh at that. I understand, sometimes it can be annoying, BUT, why do you ALWAYSSSS have to fight at nam? Why don't you fight all over LV? I sometimes come to nam with heli just to stop the annoying nam camping 24/7. Is camping at nam 24/7 what you ONLY like about SAMP? Look at much wider picture, helikilling is part of game, should helikillers wait til you finish your little fight infront of nam?
Also, we have something called Duel Arena to keep others ruining your duel.

All I see on this thread is flame baiting and bullshit. How about this, play nice or just stay out? A suddern outburst saying one person is ruining the fun for basically a whole server (and thats how you basically put it) is bullshit. Its bloody easy to kill a heli killer / DB'er, and if you honestly think that one person doing this is spoiling your game I would suggest you goto a server without any cars / heli's or better yet a RP server as they would support they way you want to play.
This is a DEATH MATCH server (along with other tags) - This means KILL BY ANY MEANS.... use every object / weapon in the game to kill the other guy. Boohoo, you cant tell me if the Hydra was avaliable to you that you wouldnt use it on other players. They would think you were a prick for doing it, but you would be having fun AND KILLING PEOPLE WITH SOMETHING THE GAME OFFERS...
My point is:
Dont like DB'ers? Dont like Heli killers? Feel free to goto the DA and fight, or just go to a casino and fight in there, see... easy, no cars, no heli's... just gun fights. But please, if you do take this advice... please dont then start bitching about sawn off's etc being over powered or how "running weapons are such a n00bs weapon".
In the end, if you dont like how you die on this server, no one is keeping you here.

You mentioned the other day GamerX, well it's full of lamers there, but the reason it's so full is because from the start you have so man y things to do. The only real reason I think lw's isn't as popular is because of how you start.. with a deagle and 500$ and if you're lucky in a good spawn point.

Its bloody easy to kill a heli killer / DB'er, and if you honestly think that one person doing this is spoiling your game I would suggest you goto a server without any cars / heli's or better yet a RP server as they would support they way you want to play.

This is a DEATH MATCH server (along with other tags) - This means KILL BY ANY MEANS.... use every object / weapon in the game to kill the other guy. Boohoo, you cant tell me if the Hydra was avaliable to you that you wouldnt use it on other players. They would think you were a prick for doing it, but you would be having fun AND KILLING PEOPLE WITH SOMETHING THE GAME OFFERS...
as you see this system doesnt work any longer. there are up to 40 players on LITTLEWHITEYS. back then there were at least 150 players . its just a matter of time until we are 20 actives.
My point is:
Dont like DB'ers? Dont like Heli killers? Feel free to goto the DA and fight, or just go to a casino and fight in there, see... easy, no cars, no heli's... just gun fights. But please, if you do take this advice... please dont then start bitching about sawn off's etc being over powered or how "running weapons are such a n00bs weapon".
i dont wanna be trapped in some fucking building because of somebody ruining this server.
In the end, if you dont like how you die on this server, no one is keeping you here.
there are many players which i respect even if most of them already quitted playing on lw.

This is getting stupid now. All you seem to be doing is answering for yourself and yourself only. There are other players who do what Scott and Blew do all the time. Not being funny, but if you leave, thats one less person complaining and flame baiting.

im right now not at home so im not sure but there is no official list any longer. there is now a "hosted" list i guess. LW still appears there but now there are 40 hosted servers..

im at home now and checked it. there are 61 server in hosted list and if u sort them by players then littlewhiteys is about #30...

and warbringer: yes sunday there are the most players connected. up to 60 players or something like that but in the past i had to wait for free spot on server (200 players..)

Hmm, LWs is quite hard for new player to get a foothold in. Not so much because of starting conditions but because its v hard to make money. Even now my source of income (I don't like to buy props) is still mostly lucky drops on kills (when they aren't stolen from me lol), handouts from nice people, or gang turf money. And money is important on the server because lets face it, you don't really stand a chance without sawnoffs and uzis. I'm happy if I've made enough money in one session for my next set of spawnies (about 100k).
Also, new players love to race, but the races on this server are not great imho... They get interrupted at the start, they are poorly checkpointed, and the ones that get hosted are usually the boring "race all over SA" ones...
Another point I noticed is that the most popular servers on the hosted list are either RP or stunting... If we had some good stunting areas and advertised it as part of the server on the list, like DM/Freeroam/Race/Stunt etc... that might help bring more players in.

btw: guns and vehicles are part of the game. we allow deathmatching on lw´s. its named gta. You should expect ppl shooting with guns and using the vehicles even to kill you or to destroy or steal your vehicle.
The races should be protected at the start, but after the race began far away enough from the racestart, ppl are allowed to shoot, ram, steal, make roadblocks etc...
Without it, we would just have normal races.
On LW`s we got deathmatch races. Best you know the whole SA map. Best you got a chute, full armor, nos, ...
And best u allways watch your radar.
If a race got roadblocks, rustlers, rammers and killers in the finish... u got to be tactically. You got to get other routes, u might have to shoot, leave ur vehicle, look for a new one...
These races can be really hard deathmatch races, but that`s what makes these races unique lw`s death match races.
As player I am often an asshole. I like from time to time to be the bad guy. I like ppl shooting me, I like to get creative kills. If I would just like to fight on foot I would play other games than gta. But I love the many possibilities... and i love the risk of beeing shot everywhere unless the racestart and ammu and bank.
As admin I try to be polite and fair.

I think that´s a very serious and real post. I saw Heretic now very often ( he´s alltime winning in our fights) and I think you can fight against each other , like we do. But here in forum or on IRC we have to be friendly. And not just here also in-game! I know its annoying if you die alltime but who cares?! Kill but be friendly you can talk with the players etc.
And I hate it if players join and just flame flame flame. I think the admins could kick more ppl cause of flaming. At most gemans if they join with the words : "sieg heil" A big big reason to ban/kick.

Thing that can be done about this is: When a person dbs you and takes away more than 10hp or 10 armor loses his weapons or gets blown up all the sudden.
I haven’t a clue if that could be implemented but it sounds so cool. Of course another idea is to remove weapons of drivers on entering a vehicle (but not passengers)
