New features were added last restart:

  - FPS/Packetloss textdraws:
       * Shows your FPS and Packetloss.
       * Toggleable using /fps.
       * Can check others FPS by using /fps [id].
       * Label colour depends in your fps ( red = bad , yellow = normal , green = good)

  - Car add-on shop:
       * Repairs your car at cost of $100.
       * Adds armor to your car at cost of $1,000.
       * Adds nitro to your car at cost of $1,000.
       * Adds hydraulics to your car at cost of $1,000.
       * Located near KACC aircraft pay'n'spray. (Click me (http://i.imgur.com/pQm4P9P.jpg))

  - Basejump:
       * Teleports you to basejump place at cost of $100,000 with 5 tries.
       * Screen:- Click me (http://i.imgur.com/jaehuOt.jpg)
       * Located at airport, aircraft icon.

  - Loco co in Las Venturas:
       * Teleports you inside loco co. (only with a lowrider)
       * Screen:- Click me (http://i.imgur.com/ciu7UeS.jpg)
       * Located near Royal casino.

  - Wheel arch angel in Las Venturas:
       * Teleports you inside wheel arch angel. (only with a convertable)

  - Aircraft duels:
       * Aircraft duels similar to duel arena but for airplanes.

       * Place: Located in KACC aircraft pay'n'spray.

  - Sea sparrow:
       * Sea sparrow spawns randomly around the map.
       * Charges you $50 every second.

  - New donator commands:
       * /label : Creates a label above your head. (Click me (http://i.imgur.com/xCKTHDt.jpg))
       * /rainbow: Changes car colors every 1 second to random colors.
       * /paintjob : Changes car paintjob to random paintjob.
       * /dildo: Gives you a DILDO.
       * All donator commands are free no costs.

  - Gamblers protection:
       * Kills casino melee bug abusers.

  - Packet-loss kicker:
       * Kicks player if his packetloss is equal/greater than limit (16).

  - New race system:
       * You can host different types of race now with new tracks.(air races, sea races and circuit races)
       * It costs $250,000 to enter the hosting place for first time after that you can enter for free.
       * Minimum race hosting prize is $500,000; Prizes are auto assigned.
       * Option to enable race protection for $400,000.

There is 1 sparrow was added to the server last restart. Idk how can it happen that you saw 2 sparrows. :)

Sea sparrow is not overpowered like minigun, you can shot it down easily even without M4.

About sea sparrow,it's not that hard..atleast not as hard as shooting down a rustler..You just need to take cover and fight from a distance...

Sea Sparrow will now spawn randomly at certain places - which you'll have to find yourself.

It will also charge 50$ per second.

This should be live in server after next restart.

/fps always re-enables when you die or start a duel :'(

This is also fixed.

I agree....Sea sparrow spawning with a bit more health weekly is better than a respawning sea sparrow which keeps changing location imo...Even if it's not hard to shoot down..

If u now host a race u should see the bug urself. Any race u host will start normally for the first  half of checkpoints, but then convert into the second half of the last race that has been hosted...

I found the source. It was caused when a race was currently being hosted and someone else tried to host another race of a different type. It should be fixed now.

It spawns randomly at different 16 places, it takes 15mins atleast to find it. I'm pretty sure theres only 1 sea sparrow. The whole vehicle set got 1 sparrow and 1 sea sparrow. That happens with other helis. (chop-chop)

what are you trying to say  ???

For new players it's impossible to tell, where to go in "Reverse All Around San Andreas". The checkpoints point in very weird directions as they are.

You won't see a confirmation message the label will just appear in your head also you can't see it but others can as freak mentioned above.

That is a quality of that race inherited from the original All Around San Andreas. Some of the checkpoints there are already placed infront of highway junctions pointing towards the exits, and there are about a dozen shortcuts never pointed out either. New players who don't know that AASA is ment to be a highway-only race often leave the track either way.
I think this circumstance is what makes this race interesting.

Well.. of course the root cause is that they have literally inverted the race, without re-alligning the waypoints. My suggestion is to do exactly that. But yes, it's not mandatory.

If i remember right that checkpoint is on the county road towards the Farmland and Blueberry. Going straight at this point would allow to take the Highway entrance to the right. The player count didn't change a slightly bit, it was just as awful as it was before the change. It responds to external factors to the shooting system and, as someone pointed out before me, it was too soon to make conclusions.

Not sure if you mean that in general or to me, since you quoted me, i was gone during this whole time (before and after the change) and i simply decided to announce it.

As i'm being questioned from many places simultaneously, publicly and privately, let's bring some light to the matter: This responds, i believe, to the authors behind this experiment being no longer involved and therefore shutting down the projects they no longer can oversee.

Just wanted to clarify this, in case i'm not wrong, because one year ago the same thing happened. Someone changed the server to lagshot, i announced it because i believe this place deserves communication, and everyone thought it was me who did it.

I still wondering why you guys still crying about lagshot/skinhit; I don't see anything better in lagshot just many regulars went to another skinhit servers. And can you kindly explain me how many days/weeks this shit will stay?
We had 7 days lagshot trial and I can say players count didn't even reach 40 during this period.

All FPS (First Person Shooter) games are using skinhit, why?
- Because skinhit have a logic.
Why did SA:MP developers add lagcomp(skinhit) to the game?
- Because lagshot had a terrible sync. Skinhit makes more sense.

Why the hell 99% of SA:MP servers using lagcomp on? I won't answer this, someone answer me with common sense please.

I thought players count will raise to 80 or 90 thats why I voted yes, but sadly players count didn't even reach 40. Common sense?

Seems like you edited the post; I agree other lagshot have like 50 players online and they already knew LW is lagshot, 7 days was enough for it. Why would someone leave the server he playing on for long time to join LW?

There are a lot of factors to take in account when talking about the playercount.
For once, the christmas holidays ended last week, and a lot of people have to follow irl responsibilities during the week. Furthermore, at this time of the year a lot of schools and universities start their exam periods. (As does mine and those of a whole group of staff members).
Apart from that, there has been a huge update of server features right when we switched to legacy mode that also influenced playercount greatly.

The lagcomp/legacy switch may be a major factor in playercount, or maybe not. As far as i see it, this discussion is lacking actual facts to back up some of the arguments, so let's add a few data that may be helpful to the cause:

The first thing to be mentioned here is that the lagshot trial period has not been held for seven, but only six days. The second thing to be seen is that the christmas holidays had a major influence on the playercount, and seeing where they ended the playercount dropped.
Notably the day with the lowest peak ammount of players was thursday before the update - when the server was still on lagcomp.
Beginning with the 8th January, the update on v2.9.3 was released, resulting in a steady peak of a small bit beneath 40 players over the course of the weekend. With the end of the weekend, playercount drops again.

Unfortunately, there is no statistical way to extract informations about how exactly legacy mode influenced playercount, for the following reasons:
There is no reference data for the common playercount on lagcomp. The only data we have available for the time being on lagcomp are the christmas holidays, which are not representative for the usual weekday data, and a single week between these holidays and the update where there's simply not enough data to draw any conclusions from. To illustrate this matter, try computing a weekly average with data of one week, a.k.a try to compute the average of a single number.

The ammount of data collected with legacy mode is not representative. Of course we start off with the same problem as the one week mentioned above: We only have run the test for six days yet - which means two things: We can't even get statistical informations about how this change has done within one week - because the week isn't even finished. And secondly we can't possibly infer any informations about how it will trend in general from such little ammount of data. Also, there were other factors, such as the general server update and the oncomming exam periods that possibly interfere the influence the switch to legacy had, which leads me to the last point:

The statistical significance[1 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statistical_significance)] of legacy mode influencing playercount is not given. Through all the influencing factors in the given data, the switch to legacy mode alone cannot be properly extracted. And even if it could be, by polls, surveys, etc, the error rate with only this few of data is so high that the possibility of legacy mode being the cause of any observed playercount drop is so low that it can't be seriously interpreted as such.


Conclusion: Running the test for a longer period will help in increasing the relevance of the data for a well-based review of the effects of switching to legacy mode, and will also help extracting and separating the influence of legacy mode on the playercount from other temporary factors.
Please review your numbers and make sure your claims are backed by actual empirical facts - don't just generalize incompletely from insufficient ammounts of data.

I spent 10 weeks online. That's 1.700 hours in 7 years or 2,6% of my total time.
You spent almosat 9 weeks online. That's about 1.500 hours in 233 days or 27% of your total time................... congratz.

At this point you should really just give up. They won't revert it for you. Deal with it.

I was ingame the day you were raging like hell because you couldn't understand the mechanics of how lead-aim works. I won't discuss your attitude or first impression that day when you got to meet our fellow lead-aim for the first time, but seeing how you immediately started complaining how it's useless to do so because of your personal opinion being negative. I wasn't really online this week, but i definitely can judge from what i saw last week for 4 days which i spent playing samp (on leadaim). Server was constantly crouded by players of all types (noobs, professionals, regulars, staff etc.) and the number barely happened to fall down to 20. I also don't need any statistics to prove this, i was myself experiencing this while some people like you came to forums to tell lies around to people who might have not had the chance to be there. Your judges by only week or so since we moved to lead-aiming are pathetic.

i wasnt around on weekend so maybe you did have 20 players but usually on weekdays it barely reaches 15. i wouldnt call that crowded.

anyway, negative is right, lead-aim doesnt attract ppl imo. so doesnt skinhit. we had more players during holidays and servers usually have more players on weekends aswell.

the playercount dropped already when we had skinhit, didnt change with the 1 week trial lagshot, and hasnt changed with the added trialtime either.


so far i still havent figured out what was the reason to end the 1st week trial period when the reason was "it didnt work out as planned" and then changed back to skinhit and back to lagshoot within few days.  ???
