sorry if im posting this in the wrong section but,
everytime i drive into the chop shop ( which i never have sucessfully ) my game crashes!
is there a fix for this??
-
whats the chop shop?
-
I think he means the Tune Shop.
-
lol yeah thats what i meant
any reason why this happends?

There are some possible solutions:
1) Go to your My Documents/GTA SA User Files Folder.
2) Delete the file named gta_sa.set. This file contains your game configurations, the game will recreate this file when you start it next time with the default config.
3) Start up SA-MP, dont change any config settings. Go to a car mod shop.
4) If you manage to mod a car, start changing the other settings (changing resolution, Visual effects, AA, etc.)
1) Go to start > run > dxdiag
2) Click on the "Sound" tab.
3) Under "DirectX Features", set the "Hardware Sound Acceleration Level" to "Basic Acceleration" (Should also work on Standard Acceleration)
4) Click on "Save all Information", and Exit.
5) Test it
None of them worked for me though, but they did for many people with this bug.

None of the solutions worked for me :(
Personally i blame Vista!!!! h8 this os
-
Some people are unlucky, some people do it without crashing others do, personally i dont think spending $50.000 to tune a car up then driving into LV is a good idea...
-
Yeh i fail if i even go near these things, i just get my brother to mod my cars up for me.
-
lol with mods you cant play samp.....
-
samp is a mod...
-
samp is a mod...
True dat True dat ^^

lol with mods you cant play samp.....
Your getting confused with "mod shop" and "mods"
Also SA-MP is a modification of GTA:SA, it doesnt give you a advantage over other players as its equal across the board whereas for mod's which are downloaded and installed which arnt SA-MP they can be used to gain a advantage

yeah ive learned driving in LWs with a pimped car wont last to long :P
i think i fixed this issue with changing the compatibility mode to run with windows 2000
