Desert Turf Madness!
Lately LW’s hasn’t been getting the action it used to have all over the city, and lots of gangs are made out of more than one clan and a few regulars, making it less competitive and harder for the new players. So my idea is to make this event where many clans meet up at a certain time and date and basically do whatever it takes to fight for the three Desert Ammunation turfs west of Las Venturas. Even though it’s an official event, it takes place in an open DM zone, and on purpose! Participants are free to choose whatever tactic they want and players that aren’t participating are allowed and encouraged to go ahead and try to add on to the chaos of the turf zones.

For those of you who are too lazy to read the whole thing: This is basically an event where you fight for the three Desert Ammunation turfs for one hour and the gang with most turfs at the end of the match wins.

Yes and No. The battlefield will only take place in the small patch of turfs surrounding the Desert Ammunation area, and there are certain rules that apply to the different gangs that take part in this blood bath. Of course the objective of the event is to motivate players into fighting like this for turfs every day, and have gangs fighting each other rather than teaming up against individuals.

Just show up on time! As long as your gang meets the requirements of the rules and stands inside the Desert Ammunation Interior before the countdown starts, you’re all set. This means you do not have to sign up previously, only wait with all the gang members inside Ammunation before the war starts.

There are a few rules besides the standard LW rules. Since it’s an official event I tried to balance it out a little bit to force players to fight in groups against each other.
- A clan gang cannot have more than 1 member from a different clan in them. In other words: 2 members of a single clan cannot be in the same gang as 2 other players from a different clan. Example: 2 [JOKER]’s cannot be together with more than 1 [V] in the gang.
- All the turf fighters must start inside the Desert Ammunation before the party starts.
- Gangs are NOT allowed to ally with other gangs, this is strictly forbidden and if I see this both gangs will be immediately disqualified.
- NEW RULE! Helikill, Firetrucks and Driveby are DISALLOWED in the desert turf area for the whole hour that the event lasts. Everything else is still allowed (SWAT Tanks, flying suicide planes into the area, combine harvesters, etc.). Also if there is an excess of rustlers at any given time they can and will be prohibited.
- The event lasts exactly 1 hour. The gang with most turfs at the end of the event will be the winner of the fight.

- Randoms or participants start attacking the place with suicide aircrafts?
That's part of the fun! It's still LW's DM only now the turfs have more value.
- This fucking stats whore from another gang keeps running inside for refills?
Patience my friend, you'll get him. But it's in his disadvantage to leave the turfs for armour, since it's the territory you have what counts, not the kills/deaths.
- This is fucked up! I have only 3 members and these [M] freaks brought half their squad!
Tough luck, that's what's important here, the more of yours to show up, the better chances you have of winning.
- Some asshole spawns right next to this battlefield and I can't, it's totally unfair!
No it's not. Donators paid for the server and every little bit counts, they deserved those commands and if you want them you should donate too.
- Uh oh, the event finished right when the turf is flashing, who gets the point?
The gang who was defending that turf keeps it.
- Hey! Some gang is inviting players during the event!
This is allowed. As long as they do not break the rules about different clans in the same gang (listed previously).

Well I'm going to need admin help for this (lol). I'll have my hands full and it would be very uncomfortable to control the event and check for cheaters/rule breakers at the same time. So please, if any clanless admin could check those reports during the hour or so that the event lasts it would be much appreciated. As for the event itself, I think I got that covered.
Also I'll need help from players! The people in clans that see this as interesting should organize their clan to come! It's good for the server to have these kinds of events and fights where all players participate.

Ok I'm not going to lie, I totally forgot, I'm sorry and I apologize for not telling in advance that I couldn't make it. If UB really did take those turfs then I don't see any other gang more fit for the winner of this "round". It sorta caught me off guard, since I was hardly on the computer today at all, again I'm sorry for ruining my own event for all of you (since I was expecting just as much).
I can't assure atm when I'll be on for a next turf, but if anybody with good organizing skills is up for it (and I think they're suitable) then I'll put them in charge of one round and update the post when I go online. The reason I can't do it myself is because I don't know when I'll have to go for personal reasons..
