A summary of the changes that you want:Often times there are duels that go bad for a player and they lose, then the other player doesn't want to duel again so you're stuck with a defeat, with no chance of winning again. Instead of just having one round when you type "/duel [id]" or "/duelaccept [id]", why not have 3 or 5 rounds? also to keep track of the score to see who won more rounds wins.
And maybe have the player choose how many rounds for example: "/duel [id] [# of rounds]." If the player just wants one round then he/she will type the usual, "/duel [id]."
The advantages of this change happening:I think this will be fun. It will make our fights more interesting.
The disadvantages of this change happening:The people waiting to duel will have to wait longer.
Any script snippets which provide the feature that you want: Nope :/
Extra notes:

yea, it would be great to fight in rounds. 3 round will be enough. :D

combined with virtual worlds this could be really cool. Multiple ppl could duel at the same time...

Oh same as LVP :-\ ...... +0
Originality is a bonus, it doesn't matter if the idea is on another server otherwise we wouldn't have a registration system :).

I get your point, it is a good idea.
Players should be able to choose the amount of rounds themselves, 1-5 rounds?
that virtual world idea is good aswell to fix the disadventage problem, but it would also be nice if players could choose between different kind of duel arena's
