Title: [N] Changing spawn points

A summary of the changes that you want:
What I want is for all the spawn points to be removed except the spawns for skins (Cops spawn in LVPD, Firefighters in Fire dept, Medics in Hospital, Strippers in Strip club at certain times). And make them concentrated to:

- Around the Pirate Ships area.
- Around South Ammunation.

Also I want there to be around 10 spawns per zone, so that spawn camping is still very difficult to do, and for the players always to be changing their spawn zone automatically (eg: if player spawns in pirate ships, on next spawn he'll spawn near south ammunation).

The advantages of this change happening:
This will allow players to be more concentrated in the map and be more involved in fights, and hopefully more action in the server. Also it will bring back the old pirate ships fights and conserve the NAM and LVPD fights.
Also players will no longer occasionally be bugged while spawning in interiors and fall under the map.

The disadvantages of this change happening:
Certain areas in LV will be deserted most of the time, and some players may just join the server to drift and may decide to leave after getting killed quickly.

I agree, having random spawnpoints spread out all over LV and not having many players reduces the action. This idea will bring more action as you said and hopefully the new players will invite more people into the server because there is more action.

I agree, it's easily done. Some time down the road I would like to add a "smart spawning" system, which will help flesh out the other parts of LV (hopefully resolving the disadvantage)

Yeah,this is easy to add and it will bring more action into lw's.That random spawn points at random places fucks it up.U should delete some spawn points around that prickle pine and add more at pirate ship and south ammonation.Great idea scott :)

Don't forget Desert Ammu-nation. Those 3 turfs are just epic when it gets crowded.

The reason I didn't mention desert ammunation (as some of you may know I'm a big fan of it) is that it's the only ammu  near LV that doesn't have much attention, so people can go there and buy their weapons in peace most of the time. Also Pirate ships, LVPD, SAM and NAM are relatively close to eachother and the battles between nam and LVPD or SAM and Pirate ships can sometimes mix in certain ways, but with desert ammu this is not the case, and if you spawn there as a newbie after spawning might in the action you might find it boring. Also the only main reason I hosted the event there was because it's semi-isolated from the city, but the fps lagg caused by the dirt is really annoying.

I like it, but don't think that it will bring pirate ship fights back. There's no reason for the ppl to stay there now.

But the idea itself is great, might bring some more action.

It could be refreshing for all of us.
Get peoples mind concentraded on discovering new things instead of flaming bitching and fucking up new plyers.

Again with this? It's LW's LVDM, there's so many things they would have to change in order for it to be in SF or LS. It's just not worth it, and changing the server's main area at this stage simply makes no sense, it'll alter LW's spirit completely. My suggestion is very simple, just modify the civilian class spawns and make them in those areas.

Accepted, was doing some work on it after you suggested it.

I ran some code to strip out the spawns NOT in the following area and only 20 out of our 133 civilian spawns were in that area!

I guess we'll need to add some more within that area because it'd be a clusterfuck if we have a high amount of players and groups of players spawn inside each other at the same time (i.e. gamemode restart)
