Title: [racefs3, fixed] Race start safety

Could you fix it? It's so fucked up that I'm waiting 10 minutes in a race start so that some retard steals my car, leaves the checkpoint comes back and I can't get it back. It's really fucking frustrating to have to wait for a race and not be able to participate because of some retarded asshole.

So fucking fix it.

They can fix it, but although you can start the race, it's probable that you won't finish it because Rustlers and race blockers will be there to destroy your car, so it's almost the same...

I agree with this fix.

The rustlers and blockades after the race started who may destroy your car is not a real problem to me.

It just would be nice not be able to lose your vehicle at the race start.
Even when admins are at the start point, people still try and jack your vehicle.
They get kicked but sometimes it just might be to late for you to keep participating in the race.


If people can't jack other players vehicles no more at the race start, it would make a nice difference & might boost up the average amount of racers/race creators.


Maybe add /lock /unlock door option for players who are inside the checkpoint & participating the race.
When the race is over for the player, the /lock /unlock option for the players vehicle dissapears.

I don't really see a disadvantage for this.
Players can decide to join the race /lock their vehicle and then drive into las venturas with a locked car.( not really racing.)
But locked or not, that car can be destroyed, making the player get out of the car.

This option also could be added @ the city planning department, for an expensive price.

It's probably streaming problems. 0.3 made it so vehicles are only locked for people who are streamed in, you have to keep setting the locks on vehicle stream in with 0.3.

A /lock, /unlock command wouldn't solve the problem.

I like that , the fucking retards! often see people [Nubia] 10 seconds to shoot the home or stealing cars, driving at home ... and nothing happens .. very often  >:(

Annoying bug, should be fixed. However I ussally drive somewhere, for example arround julius throuway, instead of camping for a race start at the checkpoint :)

u should make a script that takes racers on "another dimension"..out of the normal map so u can't see anything else than the other racers and no one will annoy the race, cause the rest of the server can't either see racers

it would solve the problem of races' ruiners

then these noobs come in and say ''its dm, get used to it''. for crying out loud, properties dont have to do anything with DM, its not only dm. Quickplay is right, let races happen in different worlds so the races cant be ruined anymore.

That has been suggested some times before but has been always rejected. Hazard recently suggested that as an option in this thread: http://forum.littlewhiteys.co.uk/index.php/topic,12997.0.html (http://forum.littlewhiteys.co.uk/index.php/topic,12997.0.html)

I would agree with races in parallel worlds if in return they implemented some competitions with planes, so we the Rustler pilots wouldn't need to ruin races due to the current lack of activities for these planes...

The fix is now running on the server.
