I suggest a NVIDIA GeForce GT 240, since i have this one myself. I'm quite happy with it and it isn't too expensive. Bought it a while ago so i dont know how much it is these days, i bet you could get a better one in the same priceclass.
Things to watch are your motherboard and the way it connects. (new pci and stuff) They could explain you better in the shop ;p

Shut the crap man.
I would suggest mostly ATi, especially Saphirre versions.
New NVidia's are great, but kinda expensive.

ye 4670 is nice but not enough: u'll need atleast a 256-bit graph card for new games and normal playing..
-
NviDia GeForce 6150 Se graphics sux but yea i dont garantee ill make enough for yours benny :D

Get an ATI Radeon HD 4870 if you can afford it, but like Alvar said, if you're using a computer with a dual core processor, you're going to need to upgrade to a quad core to run games like GTAIV with reasonable framerates.
Some dual cores can Outperform quad cores in certain games, but with GTA IV it is not the case.
What you need is a new computer if you plan on playing modern games on your pc, or at least an upgrade (sorry i didnt read to see if you listed your specs)
A cheap 70-100 dollar graphics card isnt really going to do you justice unless you just want increased framerates in games in san andreas. The standard playable FPS for enthusiast gamers is 60 FPS.
Anything below 60 is considered laggy and unacceptable, but if you are content with that then you can start looking at cards under 150 dollars. Anything below that price is going to be struggling against modern games.
-
yea ill buy a quad core computer when i struck oil and become rich
-
yea maybe when im freaking thirty i aint rich...

Can i recommend you something else? Wait a little longer till you have more money so you have more cards to choose from and more space for upgrading.
if just a video card wont get me anyware ill just save up the money for next year to buy a good quad core
-
Well just get a part time job. I got my PC for just 14 days of work lol. Ok yea i did have some money left over before i started to work :P
jobs here for my age pay minimum wage wich is about 7 dollars an hour for four hours
-
Look, if your not rich and still want performance,
buy an Amd cpu, gigabyte motherboard, and an Ati video card.
Intell and Nvidia is for the spoiled ones.
No offence to those users.

so which one u got?
