Today, I decided to go on my alter account and see how it is for the new guy to play. I come online, see there's a race going and say wow! All around SA 2 laps? That's hard, but hey 2,5mill 2mill and 1,5mill for old time sake I'll go for it.
So I quickly grab an infernus, as I did my best to memorize where all the important vehicles in this set are, I nos up and head for that start. In my 7 minutes there I saw at least 5 rustlers hovering around the start and 3 regulars such as Cawabunga or SRC fuck around at the start. They'd be ramming noobs to get a better spot at the race, or they'd simply be running over the people who are just checking out the checkpoint. An admin was over watching the start so I said hey, no problems there, since at least most of the race start faggotry was punished with a good old hp set 0.
Countdown starts, so I get ready and get a good position, I'm in first place and the typical ramming at the start when it kicks off takes place, luckily I'm not very much damaged and continue. Not even 30 seconds after the race this stupid R-Team rustler queer cocksucker starts shooting at all of the people, and still with a few maneuvers I manage to get away from most of the explosions and take a quick Pay n Spray stop at the desert. I thought for a second, wow I'll be in advantage since he'll go for the people IN FRONT and not any noob who's trying to catch up. So I get back into the race as quickly as I can and pass a few people as I proceed. Once I got past the bridge in SF, near Mt. Chilliad this retarded git Qwerbeet_rulstler or whatever his retarded name is, stalks me the whole fucking way, and I'm completely defenseless, I cannot go quick, I cannot stop and I sure as hell cannot shoot him because I'm bugged because of the goddamned race protection that wont let me take out any kind of gun (not that it would've mattered anyway, since I only had sawn off uzi and deagle, the fuck would I do against a rustler). So I have to abandon my infernus, and get another car (thanks to benny there's cars all over the map) and again, no matter what I do this fucking idiot follows me everywhere I go. I'm pissed, but in spite of that I'm thinking, hmm well after all if he's going for me then it must be because everyone died or gave up. Well no, little did I know this retarded asshole made friends and let them pass, and kills or leaves in the middle of nowhere all the noobs who just wanted to race.
Here's the irony, you morons later spam the forums with suggestions to help noobs, and you made everyone who was racing and couldn't win rage quit. Hypocrites much?
A few points:
- Back in the day, LW's Races always used to be known as hard because of the probability of you being fucked by the DM in some way, but it was never IMPOSSIBLE to win.
- Race blocks are never flawless, they can slow you down, but if you are smart, you can go around them or even kill the authors of the block.
- Now that there are over 10 rustlers in the vehicle set, these queer retards have a change of rustler only 10 seconds away no matter where they are.
- You guys make people leave, and then you act like you're here to help new comers.
To be honest I'm hardly surprised at how everyone manages to get angry at this community somehow, no matter what you do there's some dirty cunt who's only objective is to lame you out of your fun. This used to be ok, but now that there's so much faggotry and so little player count there's really nothing to do in this server if you are completely alone.
Maybe you [R] maggots can't shoot for shit, maybe you don't spawn kill. But you sure as fucking hell do make people quit the server, and not just regulars.
In short, I wish some day there would only be 3 rustlers and 3 helis in the whole map, and there would not be this utter nonsense of 15 people in the air nowadays.

And it's not just the rustlers ruining races and such. It's the whole environment that is everything else than new-player-friendly (I'm talking to you dear regular players, you know who you are). Why is the server as empty as it is? Sure the lack of an official tab is to blame, but that's not the whole story. Do the math.

I think the main reason people stay away is because of all the gangbanging, not the race fuck ups by some rustlers. And yes, you can say it's the only way for the rustler pilots to have some fun in the server, because not everyone is good at using regular weapons and it isn't mandatory to use them. And if they won't use the rustlers, they probably get assfucked by a whole gang because they can't defend themselves properly. It's just their specialty, they suck at rw/ww, so they have other ways to kill/annoy people.
And btw, I love to race, but I also love to fuck up a race. Many might disagree with this, but I'm also pissed off when someone messed up my race, but afterwards I can only laugh about it though. Sounds like a paradox I know. But it's good that it's a challenge everytime to finish a race, not only to maintain your good position, but also you have to watch out for voltures. That makes the races in this server so cool in my opinion.
So exactly like i mentioned, what is annoying to you, is others fun. Think about it, or don't and stay mad. The real problem is that gangs don't fight eachother, they go for the fastfood.
And Midnight, you're just ants at the picknick. Like LVP is all that great and shit. Same gangbanging problem as in LW, except people flame even more in LVP. You played a while in LW so don't act like you invented the wheel or something you retard.

That race was the only race, hosted by another player, I fucked this week btw...
I was busy with some other stuff which was more fun.

That is not the true.
Before race started there were only rustlers "hovering" around: Me, and somebody from the [SW] gang, but i shot his plane down, even before the race started. He came back with a new plane after the most players were killed and only about 5 racers left, but only to kill me.
True is, that there was a thrid rustler shooting the race near the first red bridge (bone county), which used to attack racers: [SW]Angle, but he didn´t attack racers for too long.
Later on the fourth rustler, somebody from [V] gang, i dont remember the name, joined the fight all around race, but not to kill any racers. He was one of the killed racers before, so he looked for me.
I thought for a second, wow I'll be in advantage since he'll go for the people IN FRONT and not any noob who's trying to catch up.
You were third at that time I guess... I´m friends with SRC and he always shares the prize, if i help him to win in races or protect him from other racers/rustlers/race blockers. He messaged me during the race, that there would be another player who was new to the server in the lead and that i shouldn´t kill that dude. I agreed so I kept hunting the car in front of me, you..
By the way, if there a race i shoot alone, I cannot look for every single player, if he is new to the server, if he needs money or what his stats say. I mostly cannot even see the names of the players because i am a bit too far away from them. Check that out yourself: Fly over LV boulevard and try to identify the names of all the single players. After that, try to look up ID´s to watch the stats of them. And that while flying...

Well, what shell i do with racers who´s cars were blew? It is very hard to kill them with the guns of a rustler, if they didnt die from the explosion. There is always a risk to even kill single players in the center of LV airport from the air, so what shell I do if someone´s car was blown, but there is no way to land-and-kill or kill that guy from the air? That isnt like a if you blow a car through driveby and its possible to get back and completely kill that guy. It´s a way harder if you ask me...

On ground, most noobs even win against me in 1 on 1. Do you really want to tell me that it is really that bad if i blow racers to let server friends of real friends win and earn my own money that way? It´s something completely different if you kill a racer with a rustler from the air and make his car explode or if you just buy some guns, take an NRG and driveby noobs at their spawns? I´ve been training flying for 6 months now and there were 6 months of training needed to be able to fuck 13/15 racers. I tried drivebying only 1 day yet. That day i made like 30 kills in 2 hours. I was even good enough to shoot armour and health down without any explosion. I don´t complain about DBers or say they´re unskilled or anything, but at this point I wanna say, that killing people with rustler is harder that shooting them from the ground.
In short, I wish some day there would only be 3 rustlers and 3 helis in the whole map, and there would not be this utter nonsense of 15 people in the air nowadays.
If you ask me, Rustlers are, like driveby or helikills are for me, a part of the server and a part of GTA SAMP. If I would prefer racing games, i would play Need For Speed now, or play on a real racing server. If I would prefer only real ground fights, I wouldnt play GTA for sure. Then I´d play Counter Strike or Call of duty.
I hope there won´t be anymore offense in you next posts...

What's just retarded is that no matter what you do, stop and accelerate, turn around, cover, shoot at the damned things, get out of your car and back in again; you will always fail because:
- They can get another rustler anyway in a matter of seconds.
- Meanwhile their friends will pass you in the race while you're trying to simply not explode.
- You're wasting time of your gameplay just trying to go 10 meters while he's flying around with his stupid airborn drivebying machine.
- You can't even defend yourself and counterattack because the only way to get to him is ruining your race and getting a rustler, which will fail anyway cause they no-life'd it since the day they realized they can't shoot for shit.
Simple fact is that you guys go around for hours, just flying around in those god damned rustlers hoping for some random guy minding his own business and just cruising out of LV, or the occasional heli buying properties or in this case, a long and almost un-finishible race and simply dedicate your time to be a complete nuisance and not even be normally in the main DM zone. All you do while you're on this server is criticize and talk about suggestions you don't know anything about, how the server should have this or that. Imagine if everyone had rustlers. Imagine if everyone had helis. There'd be nobody to kill on the ground and those so called air battles would never finish. Go to a fucking pilot server or something honestly. The only reason I used to no life helikill is because close to nobody would do it, now any noob tries and only ends up causing fps lagg with explosions, and the fact that there's 10 helis all over the city and easily accessible doesn't help at all. DB'ers, Helikillers, even gang bangers are easy enough to avoid if you know how to run around the streets, but if you're in the middle of an open highway and racing you cannot avoid that fucking rustler.
You guys go on and on about how it's part of the game, but what you don't realize is that this game wasn't fucking made for multiplayer, and you abuse the shit out of all the lame ass shit there is to exploit.

Where did i say you wouldn´t? I just explained my point of view.

If I crash with my rustler 2 times in one race, the race is over for me, it´s even hard to get all racers if you crash one time, because firstly you need to fly back to the next rustler spawns if you´re damaged and secondly you need to fly back the whole way, while the racers went forward. It depends where you crash, but getting a new rustlers always takes 4 up to 10 minutes.

Having friends on server always has it´s advatages: If your friend´s don´t attack you biggest rival on server and dont help you, you will always be pissed. Not only in races.

M4 would be a good defense, if somebody is sitting on your car, he can shoot easily.
Ground fighting needs training too and do I complain about people that can kill me on ground whenever they want to? Training makes people not leaving the server.

On serverlist it actually says "littlewhitey's DM/Freeroam/Race server" I´m not sure why weapons aren't already disabled, out of LV, if it is so annoying for so many players.

You should change your tone, you seem so mad at the world for everything. When I see you talk in chat, 9 out of 10 times it's you raging about what the fuck ever.
And as a matter of fact, we didn't made the clan for gangbanging intentions, though we attacked everyone who got in our way. That me and the cockroach have personal issues, is the reason I left the clan. After I left, the whole idea of the clan changed.
But I'm not talking about what happened then, I'm talking about what's happening now. I enjoy playing alone, I'm not bothered because of it. I can join another clan or play with some other guys but I choose not to do that. So I sure have right of speaking. You just always stay mad and insulting people who have fun while you can't have it.

It was me, i never was in the race nor interested in the racers, i flew to you rustlers and tried to shoot you down, but i never completed it. since i suck at flying rustlers, i died.

Something has to happen about helikilling and rustlers. New rules must be made. Rustler fights might be fun for people flying. But giving 1 person fun and ruining 10-15 other players race/fun... A simple new rule would help: No fucking up the races with rustlers. Easy as that. New rule for helikilling that would make ground fights so much interesting: No helikilling nowhere near north ammunation.

This is why we can't have nice things. Please don't force management to remove parts of gameplay using rules, people just get more and more confused and time could be better spent doing something else. Rules are broken, you add more, then you add to the chance of people getting banned/kicked then we'll also have less players this way.
I am looking into fixing this race bug now so racers have a better chance at defending themselves. I am also thinking about making it so that during races the rustlers will have their health set to 300 (1 hit and they explode pretty much, it's usually 1000.0) as per an idea of splatterpuss, but I'd prefer this not to happen as it'd ruin any actual rustler fights during this time period.
I hope those who use rustlers to ruin races now understand how racers feel and will at least pull back on the abuse.

Not possible to block car damage just from a rustler, however you could make the cars "invulnerable" for x seconds after race starts. Not ideal, but would have a similar effect.
I find it funny that people don't want races to be ruined, however when virtual worlds are suggested which would prevent this 100% nobody wants it .. ??? ?

I agree with OP 100%, "you make people leave".. it's true, I was in the server few days ago and I got lamed by 4 guys using 2 or more firetrucks to spray me.. I didn't stand a chance and I didn't want to go kill other people then them cause they were few of the only "good" players in the server, sure I could go around killing random noobs but that's no challenge.. haven't visited LW since then -__-
Virtual worlds: just do it, add them for races. I even got an idea for people who WANT to block races, what about adding something so you can join a race but as someone intending to block races, you'd spawn in the same world as the racers and have lots of big vehicles like firetruck you can use, then there is a checkpoint on the radar, say there are 10 checkpoints in the race and the player who is leading the race is at checkpoint 2 it would set the objective on the radar @ the 5th checkpoint telling you to go there and block the race and prevent illegal street racing, as soon as the race leader hit the 5th checkpoint it'll set the second checkpoint at checkpoint 8.
Perhaps this could be a job.. police job? checkpoint somewhere in lvpd where you can see if a race is going on and join if there is? And you can gain $$$ if one of the racers bumps into your car :D the more damage done to your the racers car the more $$$ you get (or something), maybe you'd have the option to spawn 'block cars' like dumper, firetruck etc whenever you want.. but you wouldn't be able to use any weapons.. what about being able to have multiple races at the same time so the job is more often available and you can choose which race you want to block, also there should be a maximum of X blockers.
Just an idea I quickly came up with, will obviously have to be better thought about..

This is why we can't have nice things. Please don't force management to remove parts of gameplay using rules, people just get more and more confused and time could be better spent doing something else. Rules are broken, you add more, then you add to the chance of people getting banned/kicked then we'll also have less players this way.
I am looking into fixing this race bug now so racers have a better chance at defending themselves. I am also thinking about making it so that during races the rustlers will have their health set to 300 (1 hit and they explode pretty much, it's usually 1000.0) as per an idea of splatterpuss, but I'd prefer this not to happen as it'd ruin any actual rustler fights during this time period.
I hope those who use rustlers to ruin races now understand how racers feel and will at least pull back on the abuse.

- any sort of spawnkill, even on setspawns
- duel arena (people could loose there ;D)

- rustlers - yes every second week there is somebody in rustler who kills them all! that´s really annoying and makes people leave the server!

Drive-by, i cba, as I barely get killed by it, it avoidable pretty easy as it doesn't kill you instantly like helikilling does. If your in middle of the fight, you don't have time to check the helis, you can't consentrate like that.
On the rustler subject however, only people who defend this are the rustler people themselves as they are just no good in other things. You got to admit that even 1 rustler destroys the hole race, some limits have to be made. I remember those races where you could actually FINISH, not like nowadays where you can't even finish half of the race. Everything else is avoidable in races except rustlers.
Rules or changes MUST be made.

You are going to make a rule against rustlers attacking races? On the whole server there are 3 people that are able to fuck such a race alone: me, mrgreen/VGzor and Gryphus one... They´re both kind of inactive on lw, so i am the only one left. What that guy is talking about happened in one race. I didn´t used any cheat and a rustler isn´t any kind of overpowered vehicle as fluffy is. As I already said that race was one of 2 races I fucked in the last 7 days. And another thing: "All around San Andreas" is the only race that i´m good at. I can only blow the guys there, but I cannot kill the racers on desert/city drift (if they´re a bit clever) or in races like "all around LS". You want a rule which keeps all rustlers away from races. I guess the real problem is that there are too few races, and if there are and I am online at that time, I probably decide to have some fun. You should think about that stuff before you claim such a bullshit.

Oh lol, I didn´t even see that, but you were talking about real Counter Strike, i meant the Counter strike server on samp. It´s like the real counter strike just in gta style and much worse, because people avoid more easy. :D

Ok Ill try to state it shortly.
Firstly, no taking away db, rustlers and helikills. It's SA-MP and only SA-MP, it's not just part of the game, it's a part of the game that makes this game so special.
About rustlers ruining races: I think that racers should be able to use weapons. Nvm they can kill each other, Im more afraid of rustlers than other racers. And maybe there should be given a free M4 for racers?? Just an idea.
What is more, I think that it has come a bit too far. Rustlers shouldn't be able to kill many racers. Many one or two, that they just don't like. Because this way of killing doesn't give you money or even a frag, just fun and annoy for other ppl. Maybe the part of the dmg given to racers should be given back? So that after destroying three cars rustler would blow up?

Yeah, while it was quite amusing to shoot racers with a rustler, I think there needs to be two different types of races:
Protected Races that charge an extra 500k to give every racer the ability to /fix their car a total of 5 times during a race but not be able to /fix if the car is flipped over. I'm sure something like that is possible.

Regular races where you are at risk to being rustler'd, but no extra charge.
And when the race starts it would say something like "Protected Race hosted by" "Race hosted by" etc.
And to add the icing to the cake, lower the amount of rustlers to 3 at the airport like it was before. The new car script is fucked up, I miss the old infernus locations. Nowadays I just steal one from the admin roof.
I agree that it really is infuriating when you are winning a race and your car explodes due to rustler damage. I can relate.

I see helikill as seperate, since its part of the dm mode. But little whiteys wants to advertise "Race" in the server description when in reality it's a dm server with a race script. If you really want to do races right, then teleport all of the racers to another "world" like in LVP where there are numerous "worlds"

If Im having a bad day and hunt for racers, it can even happen that a crash directly and then the race is over for me if there is 1 lap. There are about 10 different races and as I already said in this topic (just read the thread before you post?!?) All around SA is the only on which is long enough and where it´s possible to blow more than 6 racers.

It makes me happy to see that there are so many new players trying out in others eyes "useless" planes to have some fun. I´ve checked alot of other servers and I can tell you that I didn´t really find a server which combines so many different stuff in one script. This is why I play it.

Also in my particular case, if you don't wanna be shot during a race, host your own one. I don't shoot to the race hoster.
I think the main reason people stay away is because of all the gangbanging, not the race fuck ups by some rustlers. And yes, you can say it's the only way for the rustler pilots to have some fun in the server, because not everyone is good at using regular weapons and it isn't mandatory to use them. And if they won't use the rustlers, they probably get assfucked by a whole gang because they can't defend themselves properly. It's just their specialty, they suck at rw/ww, so they have other ways to kill/annoy people.
This man speaks nothing but the truth. What you should do is to give ways of having fun for all kinds of players, but instead of that, it's much easier to respect only onfoot deathmatchers, to discriminate any other kinds of players (like pilots), and then cry because they do just the only thing they can do.

We already have sacrifised race and freeroam to the rustler people. Only thing we can pretty much do is DM and that is being ruined by db and helikill aswell. You guys are so self conserned, you should look at a wider picture.

You don't understand our point of view at all. WE WANT to get more players to the server, RACES ATTRACT new players and if they are not able to finish the races, they leave. Also, don't tell us that there are nothing new on the server, we got really active scripters at the moment who have done a lot to improve the server lately. New things are added weekly/monthly and hopefully will go on like that.

Im talking about new gameplay elements, I'm glad there is some car export and a better duel system. But there's more that LW's can offer, this won't make people stay. The overall mentality is fucked up, and when you find something you're good at and others aren't you're called abuser or a noob. This server isn't only about deathmatch or racing, everyone should be able to have fun in all sorts of ways, but ofcourse deathmatch is the mainfocus. And in my opinion you should be able to kill how the fuck you want, as long as you aren't cheating, which isn't the case.
But I probably get kicked in the nuts for having a different opinion about things, but don't call people self concerned while it's a minority, so your argument becomes irrelevant.
Btw Abnormalface I like your idea, I will vote for it, just for the sake of others happiness, I hope people will stop crying. And I hope rustler pilots get stuff to do too, because it's unreasonable to say they just have to learn how to fight with regular weapons while they don't like it.

A few points:
- Back in the day, LW's Races always used to be known as hard because of the probability of you being fucked by the DM in some way, but it was never IMPOSSIBLE to win.
- Race blocks are never flawless, they can slow you down, but if you are smart, you can go around them or even kill the authors of the block.
- Now that there are over 10 rustlers in the vehicle set, these queer retards have a change of rustler only 10 seconds away no matter where they are.
- You guys make people leave, and then you act like you're here to help new comers.
To be honest I'm hardly surprised at how everyone manages to get angry at this community somehow, no matter what you do there's some dirty cunt who's only objective is to lame you out of your fun. This used to be ok, but now that there's so much faggotry and so little player count there's really nothing to do in this server if you are completely alone.
Maybe you [R] maggots can't shoot for shit, maybe you don't spawn kill. But you sure as fucking hell do make people quit the server, and not just regulars.
Now I will show to all of you what is hypocritical: you start complaining when something (racing in this case) is impossible for you, but now put yourselves in my shoes for a moment: for people like me, just surviving on LV streets was almost as impossible as racing is for you, so I started dbing. However, here comes the difference: when you can't do something (like racing), you cry for them to remove or punish the cause of that difficulty (like the Rustlers), but when I can't survive on the streets and I db, you don't only take any measure against the causes of that fact (like gangs 4 vs 1, stats maniacs, abusers and cowards that kill only new players, etc.), but you also ask them to remove MY ONLY DEFENCE against that. So your goal is us the weak players being always fucked while you the strong regulars remain untouchable, isn't it??
Saying that db is lame, but at the same time justifying gangs 4 vs 1 under the excuse that "it's team work", isn't that ironic and hypocritial? ??? ::)

What I can tell you is: If there is a " all around SA" race with 15 players, even without rustlers attacks or blocks, max. 5 players will reach the finish. Most noobs already crash in the first corner against a bridge or fell into water. Others just leave the race because they´re too far away from the first and some are just too slow to reach the finish during the 4 minutes after the first won. I see that alot. I didn´t kill 15/15 racers that race. I killed like 7 shortly after the start, then i needed a half round until I got Scott, because he didn´t speed, so it was hard to get him. The other 7 players who were in race just crashed or went offline - I dont know.
For some people here, people that started forgetting this is a game and not their real life job or any way to earn money in real life, it is also frustrating if they reach the finish as 4., so that they don´t get any prize. And people that crashed aren´t happy too, so with or without rustlers, there will always some people that complain about stuff like you do here. Disallow rustlers in race means, the same people will claim for disallow race blocks in 2 weeks, because they´re mad at the world...

That doesn't make any sense at all. There are more Rustlers around since y'all joined, so you can't say that "we" don't care about "you, the Rustler pilots".

rustler faggots are rustler faggots because they use the only way for them to make other players mad (which they find UBER amusing).
nobody would take part in an air race. at least not if the races will start regulary. air races are shit and just because there could be the POSSIBILITY to host an air race guys like you wont stop fucking up races in an instant.
For these races there would be commands needed to join, otherwise everybody would land whereever he wants and if somebody doesnt start the guys behind wouldn´t have any space to start... /join airrace for example. Getting a plane any fly/land without loosing any health at race start is very hard for players who want to try out planes that way. And we surely won´t fuck races, and if there are race attackers and attack us, we could easily kill them.
You guys still didn´t get, that we aren't playing on lw to fuck races like in Scott´s description. There are currently 4 topics about the "bad, undestroyable rustlers" ruining every race on the server. If you would have read my posts you would have get that it´s wrong.
- I only go for 1-2 all around SA races per week. In the last 3 weeks i fucked like 3 and 1 drift race by the way, because I had other things to do which were kind of more fun, like stunting with some friends on the server or working on my video.
- Rustlers aren't undestroyable! If people would team with their friends on server and share the money after they won it's impossible for us (skilled rustler pilots) to kill them. Just place to of your friends with M4s on your car and let them shoot other racers and if there comes a rustler, they can easily shoot it down. You start discussing about that now, just believe me, i am the rustler pilot and i see how much health an M4 takes. You cannot see from the ground. If I tell you it's rustlers are easily killable from the ground you cannot say it's impossible untill you have tried it out yourself.

Well, i lead a gang called the R-team (7 members) but i didn´t find anybody who was able to fuck a race with 15 players alone yet. I just want to show these guys that they complain about 3, actually one single player here and that´s me. They behave like I would fuck every race which is hosted.. (now read the other posts)...
I also already said that even if i go for a race- fuck, i sometimes still crash and the race is over for me. - still sounds like I´d think I am the greatest?(If you would have read this topic you would know)...
If you're able to blow a all around SA race just /pm me ingame, host one and kill all racers. We can dogfight ater that if you like. You will see how easy it is ;)

I actually don't get what you wanna tell me here? Isn't it up to me if and when I fuck any races? Sometimes friends please me to help them, like I helped some new [R] members to get money during races, when they were new.
I also don't like driving races too much after it became very boring. You are alone most of the time, just driving the same road again and again.
