Could someone tell Gryphus that the low playercount isn't because of new players not being satisfied?

Honestly u are all annoying,server is empty because there isnt no more official list,and port changed from 7777 to 7778 so alot of players got different ip,and they arent registered on forum.

there used to be like 15-20 servers in the official list and LW DM server was one of the fullest. now there are 144 servers (O_O) in the list and it is now called "hosted" and not "official" any more. and LW is with 60 players at the highest one of the servers which are not well visited.

cool then tell me the reason why LW lost 80% of all players instantly when 0.3 was released.. the gamemode didnt change at all. only the official list was renamed and had a shitload more servers.

Well, I took only 3 random screenshots, but this is happening every single day. It also happened to me when I was new, and it made me leave the server, however I came back because I learnt that I could db, fly Rustlers in races, I also made some friends here, and also because despite all the problems, this server has "something" attractive. The anticheat system is good too.

Yeah I don't know him either, so it can be two things:
1-A regular undercover with another nick.
2-A true new player that kills another newbie. In that case I don't complain, newbie vs newbie is ok.

- i only attack them if they attacked me first
- i usually make it look as if they stay a chance
what tramp and other tards do is something completly different. they camp in front of police department to stats pad, they finish noobs off as fast as possible and try not to get hit at all. thats why noobs rage/q. they couldnt even dmg them at all and got raped in 2 seconds.

I know what you do (and agree with it), but lately people are becoming obsessed in 'saving the noobs' and the solution they always offer is to not shoot them. If everyone killed noobs under those two conditions new players would rage quit less.

Yeah very true. Right now I have nothing against Tramp (I almost never see him nor get close to him), but I remember when I was new that he spawnkilled me with sawns once or twice. I didn't even had time to move. But if someone should be punished for spawnkilling, is this:

I always joined the server cause i saw people on the server wich where cool to hang out with when i look at the list of player i don't see anyone to hang out with, or that i knew a while back, cause they arent botherd to join the server, when there are like 8 well know liked people online, more will come and fill the server up :)

I'm very sure that's not true. I've seen him playing with newbies several times. Gangbanging is the biggest problem, not some guy who only is capable of flying a rustler. Biggest bullshit I've ever smelled.

Truth hurts, but the ones causing the troubles are always denying it and blaming others. The time for gangbanging should be over, and good old clanwars should come back. Now there are a lot of clans, but there's never a war between any of them. They fight individually against eachother sometimes, but not like 5 vs 5 or 10 vs 10. They rather go 5 vs 1 or 2.
And before I get blamed for doing this myself, yes, I did. But now I don't have any clan, and I'm not planning to join a clan ever again. It's more fun to have equal fights (and being in a clan doesn't result in equal fights these days). Some people understand this, and let you fight 1 vs 1 and don't mix in your fight, but the most just can't resist. I even help newbies if I see they get raped by some regular, then I attack the regular so the newbie has some time to take cover. I hope this helps to let them stay instead of getting scared away.
It's time for clans to change attitudes, but I'm expecting nothing of it.

Well Reny, don't come now as if you were defending the new players and criticizing those who kill them, because it's you who has just suggested one of the most repressive and antidemocratic measures against db that I have ever seen.

It's not antidemocratic if the majority agrees. Look it up on wiki if you want some explenation about democracy. There are servers where db isn't allowed, and still populated. And like my suggestion of the exploding cars, also this works in populated gangwar servers. There are always people who don't like it, but if the majority likes it, who are you.

Well master, but it's still a majority that is abusing it's numerical superiority to IMPOSE their whishes to a weak and defenceless minority. Also, removing db is antidemocratic because everyone has the right to have fun from the first moment, and not only the most skilled players.

Just so you understand. People on this forum are here because they wanna be a part of this community. Those who are too lazy or too uninterested to let their voice hear, shouldn't complain about taken meassurements. Well at least you have right to complain, but you're still minority in this case. Anyway, if the majority of this forum (read: those who actually care about the server) agrees with certain meassurements, why should they keep an eye on those who don't care (people who don't visit this forum) or the minority?

If they are compatible with everyone else's life, of course. We are talking about some innocent db, not about miniguns nor Hydras...
However, you and I are talking about democracy with different meanings. As I said, when I talk about a democratic server I mean one playable by almost everyone, whereas you refer to the majority's election.
But anyway, when I said that Reny's suggestion is antidemocratic, change this word for unfair, elitist or discriminatory.
And about people posting on the forum and all that stuff, new players for example don't enter here (or at least not immediately), but that's not always a lack of interest, but just a normal process in which one first joins the server, plays some time and if he likes it he comes again some more times, and finally he may enter the forum. Also, we MUST take into account all the potential new players out there that may come any of these days. And 30 regulars compared with all those hundreds of potential new players, is a clear minority... ::)
As I said before, Partyserver is losing players since they removed db.
And a last reflection: if the majority said that you have to be banned here, or if in your real life they said that you have to be fired from your job, or that you have to leave your house or even your country, would you think that's fair and good?

My old stats that I had was about: 10 killed 190 dead, although I did not use db; All killed me .. Do you think that I'm killing a lot of noobs? And yes, of course, no one was killed!? I think LW has lower player count just because there are not many players who can appreciate the difficulty of LW server and they just go to noob server like Playground servers, that allow kids to have the fun for wich they would have to cheat on LW. As iv heard before from LW staff, all banned, kicked abuser and cheaters from LW go to the noob servers cause they cant handle the rules of LW, tough but interesting.
That is my opinion off course
