Its realy shit that you dotn get anything back when you lose things like hop hop, death explo or a chainsaw when the server get restarted...
Like 5 mins ago i lost death ex,chainsaw,hop hop and a swat truck..
Then i asked dugi to get sth back but no i get ignored...
I normaly never buy that stuff cuz its a bit expensiv and then when its weekend with a lot more players than normal i thought i could buy me that stuff and was buying properties the whole morning and standing afk because of that and when i want to play with it i lose it just cuz a stupid restart with more useless fixes...
maybe you should do stuff like that when there is noone whos playing and not at the weekend...
For every admin who wanna post some stupid stuff like, "dont cry its youre fault when you buy this"
You can just shut up cuz you can spawn cash for that and buy it whenever you want to ...
I am not more interested to play there on lws cuz the most people of the staff team are inactiv and do nothing else than trolling arround in the forum...
And then stupid stuff like that with the restart and the cash ...
ofc you cant give everything back after a restart but
maybe my 9.350.000$ would be enough that i get sth back ...
And i dont care if my english is not the best in some sentences so you can shut up about that too
Go on like that and then be suprised that there are not many players on youre server.

We don't make refunds. And just because we can spawn money, doesn't mean we will use it for useless stuff. I think you just got a bit too angry and on some other day you will look at the topic and think that it was just a temporary anger. After thinking it through, making all that money again is way more interesting that just camping in nam waiting to kill somebody. Oh, and most admins doesn't buy special store items. I don't even have them in mind when I go online. :P

(a) We cant prove what you spent the money on
(b) im not going through 10-50players trying to work out their cash and resending it them
(c) Be happy the server lives - Popz massive pron downloads are enough to put the server on life support
(d) As a player i lost millions in cash due to restarts. I also remember when there was no special shop nor no save feature. Every game = earn money, to buy weps, to earn more money to buy more weps, etc...
There was no "oh look 5mil in a bank account which i can spend on special shop stuff....
Learn that this is a video game. It is not life. It is not death. Server needs restartin and may crash at times and yes you will loose money, but the fun is earning that money back.
So when the server crashes/restarts think "i am not going to whine, bitch and moan i lost that money, but instead will kill, steal and earn that money back!!!!"

There were lots of game-breaking bugs at that time and the restart of the server was required immediately, anyway you got your money back. And in next version we will make special shop items save during a server restart.

If you were refunded for the stuff you paid for, next people would be asking to be refunded when the log off for a day come back and no longer have hop hop hop.
We cannot keep a eye on every player and refund them when the server needs to be restarted. The server isnt restarted for the hell of it...

No, I spawn money for funny things for myself. Most of the cash I spend for things from the planning department. I also tell other admins to do it. They shall test new things if there might be any bugs and they got to get used to it to know it is not cheating or any kind of bug abuse.
As long admins dont give their spawn money away they shall have fun with it. They do not get paid and they do not get much thanks for their jobs. At least they should get some hop hop hop from time to time.
Also I spend spawn cash for some other events.

ppl need to stop complaining this is so true. Admins can test new things, and usually they let players test it to. I remember when hop hop hop was added Slice would let me and alot of other tests it. People rlly stop complaining.

it`s not just to test things. It`s sometimes pretty hard for admins to make cash. A poperty buy out war is difficult if u got to watch ppl inbetween, but even more difficult for admins is to win a race when they got to watch reports while they are racing. And you do not want admins to make a special race with a hidden finish when they want to win the money. Also I like when admins join at least short when they want to check reports they saw on irc and play a little. Maybe if they would have to earn cash every time they would think twice before joining the server.
I prefer admins to check reports instead of making cash.

Disco is right: it's not a one moment rage, but a really serious issue: I would feel as if someone had kicked my ass if I spent all that big money and I lost it all after 5 minutes. And no, the fun of the game isn't in earning that money, but in enjoying it with the things you spend it on (just like in real life, or do you enjoy more when you are working than when you spend it on all the things you like?). Like in real life, the process of earning money is a pain in the ass that you have to suffer only to reach your final goals.

the way u write it sounds much better:
1. If we know we got to restart the server, we announce it before so ppl can save their cash.
2. If we know we got to restart the server more than one time, we announce that too.
3. If the server crashes/restarts on it`s own, we are sorry and can not do anything against it.
4. We do not restart the server to annoy anyone.
5. Usually the server runs. I heard complains from a ruster pilot that there was no server restart for about 14 days.
-> Server restarts are the exception and Disco knows it. He also knows it is not the admins fault.

If you think people hate you because of a post then you truely need help.... All you have done is come on, swearing and moaning that the server, admins and world is out to get you because of a restart when you bought something.
I would like to point out that when I started playing on LW's, there was no banking system, there were no spawn weapons... it was REALLY hard to make ANY money but it was a lot of fun making that money, the big spends are there for a one off laugh... Everyone playing is effected by the restart, not just you...and did any of them come on swearing and moaning, saying the LW's staff was out to get them?
Seriously, if you think that, then you need to log off of your computer, step out side and see the BIGGER picture

I'll look into adding a way to save special shop weapons during a restart so it shouldn't happen anymore :)
