From past 2 weeks, my PC restarts automatically.
First, i thought it could be of virus, but i scanned whole of my system, there was not even single virus found.
Second, i formatted my PC not even once but thrice, but still it restarts automatically after some interval, i.e. 2-3 times a day. I don't know, what the shit is going inside.
Third, i even unchecked the "automatic restart" option from "startup and recovery".
It would be appreciated if someone can help me out.

bro this could be everything..
- temperature problems with CPU/graphics card
- corrupted power supply
- corrupted hard drive
you already formated the whole HD so the error is most likely hardware related.
- you can check your hard drives for corrupted sectors with the software you can download from the producer of your HD.
- check your RAM moduls for errors with the tool "mem test"
if this doesnt help you can only check your power supply if the voltages of the individual cables are correct, but you need some special thingy for this. no idea what its called but we used it at school. if you cant find the error yourself you need some specialist.. if you dont want to give up yet then you may ask the question in some bigger forum than LW's board :D

If the problem comes in motherboard, i would rather buy a new PC, as my PC is dumbass and 4 years old, with P4.

I had the same problem, my old PC was 4 and a half years old so i just got a new one. Usually, after 4 years, it needs replacement.

in most cases the mobo is faulty or just go to a repair shop and get the parts(ram,heatsink,psu etc) replaced 1 by 1 until u find the victim

btw. fucked motherboard can affect some other parts ...so...there is no use in getting new motherboard...only!
(from my experience...burned processor+nvidia gforce8500gt+some other stuff... :'()
but! u can try "TuneUp Utilities" or instaling fresh windows...b4 buying new pc!
