Well I guess at least some of you thought that when they read the topic name but that is ridiculous.
I made this suggestion because in my opinion it would be just a great thing on littlewhitey's:
A place where you can repair and colour your helicopters and airplanes.
I thought of a roof of a house where is red field where people can land with their planes/helicopters and type /repair or /colour for some money. When I was looking for such a place I couldn't find any right place for it so I decided to Map something.
Note: This is just an example, I can spend more time on making something like that when they tell me it's a good idea and they may add it.

Advantages:
- Repairing planes and helicopters is something new. Lvp hasn't got it.
- A new thing to spend your money on.
- ...
Disadvantages:
- lazy players would prefer being able to use the /carcolour (/colour) command wherever they are.

Wouldn't be to hard to create a red marker where you can type /carcolour in would it? :o

I have worked on another selfmade Aircraft payin' spray as I was of the opinion that the one I created before didn't really fit. It looked too edited in my and in some others eyes, so here is another example:

Cool idea. Although wouldn't the hangar at the abandoned airstrip or even the LV airport be better? It'd be a lot easier to get planes in a hangar rather than trying to land it on that pad.

If I want to repair my plane I actually don't want to land in a hangar at the main airport where people camp infront of the gate and wait till I get back so they can shoot me down. If you don't want any mapped stuff Made in Germany by a Luftwaffepilot create such a blip at SF airport or so, because these hangars just suck...

I was thinking it was cool from a purely exploration standpoint, for those who have a bit of a damaged heli but don't want to give it up. I'm not for making heli killing easier so I don't see this as a negative.
The abandoned airstrip hangar is also HUGE so I don't see getting helicopters in there as a big problem. The only problem is possibly the size-- you may not be able to repair big aircrafts like the AT-400 although that may not really matter.

for colours it's ok as i think for cars in the other suggestion, but about the pay and spray i dk..is it rly necessary? at the end u can find so many planes all over the map (LV Airport and Area 69) that there's no need to make them resprayable i think

Yes it is. There are only like 10 different Rustler type (colours) on the whole map. I don't know if you knew that San Andreas has 3 big airports by the way, not only LVA and A51 :D
You also cannot repair any plane yet. If you payed for respray, why shouldn't you be able to repair it some time later when it's damaged?
A Helikiller doesn't need to repair his heli
But giving a heli an awesome color is cool indeed +1
Maybe he can also just take a new heli from another spawn, but it happends often - especially when the server is full - that those helis on police roof for example are used and only have 400 health left. You can take that heli, go to payin'spray, repair it and give it a nice colour. Isn't that awesome? =)

The way I see it now the only person who's going to be able to land their nearly exploded plane on that without exploding is you, your clan and other flying experts.

Well, I'm NOT against this idea, but it's curious to see some people saying in other threads that nobody cares about planes in this server, and however everyone is supporting this suggestion. ::)
And about the suggestion itself, as I said I'm NOT against it, but Hazard, if you are willing to script something for planes, I think there are better things you can do (and before someone tells me to suggest them, I haven't done it because I thought they would be directly rejected as usual), like air duels, air races or some stunt checkpoints that give you money and/or stats.

Well, I wanted to make it look real. The first example I gave had no street next to it so every noob would see that it's edited when he's driving on the highway. Now it's a bit looking like a concern, next to the military depot. It has a street next to it, so it could be even added to the transport system.
About the landing: This airstrip is about 2 ²/³ bigger than the one from the first example. You can land an Adromada in 1/2 of this (not only me). The full size of the airstrip is only needed for starting an Adromada.
If this still isn't enough, there is still space to make it longer.

Suggestions like that is just not needed in LW cuz its DM, Not dogfights, and before u say anything DM is on the ground not in the air. Plus hardly anyone uses planes except for u guys (like 4 people) So its irrelevant. But reparing planes is just fair since cars can repair aswell. But i think u should give boats a chance to repair aswell. Even if no one uses it.
Lol don't you see your nonsense? if this is only dm and according to you hardly anyone uses planes, then... why implement this suggestion? And you also talk about being fair because cars can repair, so you say that planes and boats (even if no one uses them) should be repairable too. But then... with that same theory, why not make also races for planes and boats, if there are races for cars?

So am I, I never expected this suggestion to have so many supporters. That's why I think we should give priority to other things, like those helicopter transport missions that you suggested in another thread.
