Also, a thread being locked doesn't mean that it should be the last that one may read.

No. Some people still need/have to read what has been said and why it has been locked.

Well how is this going to benefit suggestions? If I understand the topic right..
People wouldnt be able to read the whole thing anymore and thats going to cause things like..

"Oh I didnt know it was suggested before!"

no it's not to benefit suggestions, it's to benefit this section especially. open the first page and you see most of them are locked and you have to scroll down through a  bunch of locked topics. in suggestions subforums normally when a topic is locked it goes into it's rejected/accepted childboard. I mean that locked topics can go to the bottom of the page, not to the very last pages of the section
