Good question. I personally haven't thought about it too much apart from the odd idea here and there.

I'm unsure for v2. It would be required to build it from the ground up in old, messy code. I think that effort would be better concentrated in v3.

I'm pretty sure at least that it will not be returning as a dedicated piece of the HUD for v3. We are planning to make use of that screen space for other parts of HUD.
