Yep, on the 10/04/2011, the Rustler Team will have existed for 1 Yea[R]! This is quite a milestone for us as we are a completely different Clan - compared to the other Clans on littlewhitey's. I want to say a Special Thanks to all of our loyal members.
To celebrate this with the communty we thought of some nice Events on the server. These Events will be on Sunday the 10th of April, 2011. Please keep checking this post for any news.

Rustler Duel Event (1vs1)

When? Sunday 14:00GMT
Where? Littlewhitey's server - you get to know ingame
Rules: If you want to join just show up. We will meet at Desert Airport and me or an Admin will randomly choose participants that duel 1on1. Any (ground-)help is not allowed.
Prize: The winner will get 1.000.000$
History: The winner of the first Rusler Duel Event (hosted by Sjitty) was Gryphus_One!

Rustler Duel Event (Team vs Team)

When? Sunday 15:00GMT
Where? Littlewhitey's server - you get to know ingame
Rules: It will be like: An admins creates 2 groups (or 2 gangs) and these 2 groups will get 2 bases, for example SF airport and Carrier. After a countdown both teams will start with their Rustlers and try to shoot down all members of the enemy team. The Team with the last pilot in the air wins. Ground help isnt allowed. Its also not allowed to transport players with M4 on your wing. Shooting with Rustler without being a participant is also not allowed.
Prize: Every member of the winning team will get 100.000$.
History: I dont know if there ever was this as an official Event but we have done it many times [R]-intern. 3on3 Rustler duels can be very fun!



All Around San Andreas 1 lap

When? Sunday, after the 2 Rustler duel Events finished. Probably around 15:45-16:00 GMT.
Prize: First Prize will be 12.000.000$ + X, it depends on how many [R] members show up.

Will you fuckup the race with Rustlers? No, we won't shoot any Racers with Rustler. We will try protect it from any other Rustlers.
For those non-[R] members who get a Rustler and appear over the track and say "No shoot, just watching": We will shoot you until you get something else to watch, like a helicopter or a shamal.

I need some admins that can help me organizing the Event (make groups, watch for ruiners, race teleport, countdowns)

We will protect the races like we do very often - follow the racers and shoot down other Rustlers that want to shoot the racers if they show up!

Although... since you will give 12 MILLIONS to the winner of the All Around SA race, I think we should be shooting rather than protecting. All that money would be a fair reward for finishing the race with shooting Rustlers. Or at least make it 2 laps.

You had the chance to involve yourself in the discussion about things like this on facebook or ingame before. Now the Event is hosted and IF we will change anything, then it's the time, or because we cannot find an/enough admins that help us.
Bytheway, these 12million come completely from my 2 accounts, I wont ask you to spend any $ from your bank to the prize.

I said it isnt special because at a big race there will be some players online for like 20 mins and i guess scott will do the desert turf madness 6# maybe at the same date ...
And those rustler events are not sth where many people join in ...
Instead of an event the R-team should say that they stop fucking up races now after their 1year birthday ...
They create now one big race they dont fuck up and over the year they ruined like 500 other races ...

Fourth a Race and some rustler events wont bring many players, the only successful event which was created to get more players was scotts Desert Turf Madness.

Again event topics are not for RTeam vs Ground Fighters discussion... Rustler clan wants to make an event that's cool, don't want to show up then don't. I doubt this event will enter in conflict with DTM#6 so I support it, any extra activity organized by players like this should be welcomed, not shunned.

As for admin help, I'll try to be there but I can't guarantee anything.

If you dont want to be a participant you can sign for the media guy ofcourse and record the Event and make Screenshots. But make sure that you don't confuse the Rustlers while they're dueling. Another plane/rustler can be really confusing for those who mainly look on the map while they're dueling. There's also a risk that you crash into the people if they do unexpected turns. :)

I guess for 3rd person recording the rustler duels the best is a heli? Since it's slower and easier to spot on the map

The heli used for recording should have a different color on the radar (so the dueling Rustler pilots won't be confused), be piloted by an admin that gives it vehicle invulnerability (so the heli can't be destroyed), and also the recording player should better use the first person camera for the heli not to appear in the middle of the video.

LWs has become of of the biggest online gaming community! Ye we can hate each other. We all get in forum wars. But we never wish that someone will die! Even if its about "clan" ! Srsly dude...watafak!?
We all play together from time to time..sometimes we stick together sometimes we kill each other. (Thats how the world usually works)
But anyway..I think there are worst things in LWs the Rustlers. For me rustlers are pure fun,but yes they can be annoying when they blow ur car in races...but just think for a sec. Does [R] team makes all those roadblocks in races? Or ram u off the road? Or db u? Or have friend on their cars M4-ing u? NO!
There are lots of other much more annoying thing in LWs! Like: ME,for example! But look around urslef(and ur mirror) and then start to judge others!
And even if I hate [R] team,or some member...I wouldnt wish he dies! Ill be happy for him cuzz he actually achieved something.
Think about haters of Justin Bieber. -He have everything,you got ..........

The Event was good but not perfect. Especially that many people, who didnt fight/or wanted to fight came to the Event and were just blocking the airstrip.
The second Event (team vs team) was much better in my eyes. We had 2 awesome 5vs5 Dogfights ... ;)
The race wasn't too special. However it lured many regulars to the server  :)

Like you failed when you tried to crash into the Event with an At-400, but hit the fence of Area69 shortly after Nemesis logged for a minute? My fraps didnt work in the whole Event, otherwise you would be banned now. Hope that nobody else in the Event frapsed you.

Qweer you are right that i crashed an AT but i did it after Gzor won the duels so it was not while there was any event going on, i just waited till it was over ;)

1st - agreed. Thats a thing u dont experience if u practiced and done this for years and do this by urself.
2nd - u can put a seperate bttn for looking back, so u dont need to loose turning radius while rearranging ur sight. I do this for racing for years now, works perfectly ;D

If i get bored i start flying through tunnels or do hard turns between high buildings. That changes the situation, because the guys behind you cant follow and it's easy to get behind him then. And if you are once behind him and shoot, it's almost impossble for him to escape.

Yeah this is true: in the first Rustler event, the last duel was between Gz0r and me, which starts at minute 4:00 of this video:

and at minute 5:07 you can see how, after several turns, he finally tryies to escape by flying close to the mountains, under a bridge, and back to the mountains again to fly through the hole of one of them. That was what really made that fight so exciting. You need skills not only to make sharp turns without losing too much speed and altittude, but also to follow the other plane through such routes without crashing, and without losing too much time either, because otherwise he could have got himself behind me. And as Qwerbeet says, if in a Rustler combat you have the other behind you, it's almost impossible to escape. That's why the key of Rustler combats is getting behind the other player.
