I don't have that much knowledge of computers. Can someone tell me this is a good laptop? Can I play games on this one etc?
Thanks in advance
-
I think this laptop is good. Well wich games you wanna play?
-
COD Black ops?
-
GPU? NVIDIA GeFroce GT 325M
Haha just by reading that it made me giggle. The card is allright though.
Anyways yeah it looks quite allright for a laptop, what's your budget? (Or is that too personal?)
-
Well, I found this one for 520€ (I think that is a very good price, quality ratio!)
My budget is max 600€
-
You buying laptop, because you want to playing on it? Buy pc!
-
I've got a MSI laptop, its not very durable at all, if ur prone to dropping laptops i'd go for an acer.
-
I've had 2 acer (one broke today!) They both didn't last for 2 years. So I won't buy a Acer again xD
I allready have a pc with duel screen. I also need this laptop for school (photoshop, etc..)
-
For that money, it's probably one of the best bangs for the buck, so I'd say go for it. Friend is looking at pretty much same laptop except with HD5650 gfx and it costs around 550€, 6 months used, so it still has 1,5year warranty.

get a pc for gaming

I already have a game PC! I just want also to be able to play games on my laptop, but the main reason I'm buying it is because I need it for school..

Do not play any games in school! >:(

Come on people, give valuable opinion instead of useless ones. ;)
As I stated before, go for it, buy it. It's worth it.
-
Not sure on your price range or what not i don't even see a price on this, but im sure you could get one with a better graphics card. Never had a MSI but from what i heard there not really durable. Look elsewere imo.
-
that one is just alright, tho you might want some more HDD memory. The GFX card sounds okay, so yea, go for it.

Well I gave it already so I don't really see any problem. ::)

What is a good alternative?

my gaming latop has a intel cenlron 2.4ghz (dual core) and a geforce 9800m and it can play bc2 on med setting so i would have to say that would run most games maybe not on highest settings but would run them.

imo, I believe the HP ProBook 4720s XT959UT Notebook PC - Intel Core i5-460M 2.53GHz, 4GB DDR3, 320GB HDD, DVDRW, 17.3" Display, Windows 7 Professional 64-bit is better. All thought The HardDrive is a bit less, the Intel Core is a tad faster, the graphics and quality of the product are much better and it will outstand the MSI Laptop in durability imo. Decent price range. I priced it at 779.99$ USA Dollars, over at tigerdirect.
-
I hardly doubt that integrated gfx on that PC is better than GT 325M, also if you want a LAPTOP, then why do you look at 17.3inch screen? That's huge laptop-wise which is not really what you're looking for when you want a laptop. On top of that, that deal has already expired.

The bigger the size the in screen size, usually makes the laptop more thin wise at least I think, i have 15.6 and i enjoy it. Its not big. Didnt know those graphics were intergrated. He said he wasn't looking for a big gaming laptop but one for school.
