For some reasons I don't know why my video card isn't working properly.
In GTA I see the shadows different , also the sea is green (lol).Today I was trying to play a game and it didn't want to start , I was searching if my PC can handle the game , all's ok , but it doesn't recognize the video card.
I have ASUS AH3450 Series , 512MB.
Any ideas?

did you pick 16 bit color depth?
use 32 bit..

I use 32bit.

I heard that Windows 7 x86 dont allow unsigned drivers,so I guess youre using x86 and your drivers are not signed by 7...
I also heard that chip is made by ATI and if ASUS dont have up-to-date drivers then youll need some of these (http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/downloads.aspx) .. :o

Right now I turned to 16bit and it works fine for a game which doesn't work at 32bit.

lol I just said what I heard about what might be problem with your video card.. :P
So now you play on 16 and everything is oke? D:
Damn u piratebays!!! Ruining ppls PCs since.. 84? x)

how about just updating all of your drivers? See if that works.

I updated graphics card drivers , same as before.
/me pokes BikeDriver

i can only say the same thing again:
what resolution did you pick ingame?
you should select something like 1280x768x32, the 32 means 32 bit color depth.
be sure that it says 32 :P
also download the latest version of DirectX
if that doesnt work then your probably screwed because you need a new graphics card.

I reinstalled it and seems it works pretty good.
In-game resolution is 1024x768x16
-
you retard!!!!!!!! pick x32
use arrow keys and search for 1024x768x32, confirm with ENTER key

I'll do that , seems it works quite fine right now , I reinstalled the driver.

oh i am too late to help
but that is good cause you already fixed it. I had the same problem 2x or 3 times from 2006 till 2010, it allways helped to reinstall the drivers.
but i had a nvidia card

Good to hear you got the problem solved. Most of the solutions have been said (update driver, reinstall game, reinstall drivers, change resolution, etc)
However, i did research the card and came across this in the description:
- Gigantic 512MB memory on board
Made me lol (no offence Forgive)

why? this card should work great for samp...
or was it because of the name Gigantic?

because the memory of your graphics card doesnt matter as long as the GPU itself is weak.
this card could have 5GB memory and it wouldnt be any faster..
the shit games that need 512 MB graphic memory wont run on that card anyway lol.
thats the reason why this "gigantic" amount of memory is pointless. btw all the proper cards start with 1 GB memory today so 512 MB isnt that great anyway.. my super weak graphics cad that i bought about 5 years ago for 50€ had 512 MB too lol..
however that card should be far enou.gh for SA:MP but if you have the cash you should upgrade your PC soon. gaming is always more fun with a decent PC.

That's what I'm planning to do , thanks for your replies.

Yea on the lowest settings... lol
I had a 8600GT before i got this HD5870 and it ran SAMP like shit, but it did ran GTAIV pretty decent lol.
Anyway if your looking for a new graphics card. Look at the core clock speed and memory speed. Just because it says it has 1GB or even 2GB doesnt mean its good because all that just stands for the buffer and not for the processing speed.
