Okay so i decided to play samp and i found out gta didnt load. I kept clicking connect thinking i was lagging. I re installed samp thinking it would solve my problem, but it didn't. Single player dosn't work either. Any one know how i can fix this?

Sounds like a weird problem.
I'd suggest reinstall it all. sa-mp, gta itself, and if nothing helps the OS.
Btw have you tried restarting your PC and then tried again?
Or checked if the process of gta_sa.exe opens?
What OS do you have?
What exactly happens when you try to connect, or open single player?
Did you perform any changes of the OS lately?
-
This probably will work:
Goto Documents >> GTA San Andreas User Files >> then delete gta_sa.set, then try joining again, I'm sure it will work
-
Faye is right, this should work.
-
k will try thanks :D

Doesnt work my os is windows vista, and when i try to connect it just loadings with a green circle and then stops :\.

well it works when i run as administrator.

Windows Vista is shit, but I guess neither Samp nor GTA itself should need administrator privileges to run, as I for example use both from a limited user account in my Windows XP. Have you switched to Vista recently, or have you been using it for some time before having this problem?
-
Well if it runs in admin mode - run it in admin mode :P
-
the admin mode is my brothers account and the settings on it it shit, (https://littlewhiteys.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg847.image%24hack.us%2Fimg847%2F3370%2Funleddie.jpg&hash=4168b7b2c29d7656177c6deb7d0ed6d6bb290f44) i used another user to play samp but now its saying things like this and its crashing before it loads.
-
:O looks like a deleted shortcut to me.
anyways is this a 64bit OS?
-
Well if it runs on one of the Windows' accounts while on the other it doesn't, then it might be a problem with your user files as someone has said before.
-
yea probably, well what i did atm is make a new user file where i can move the files there and play. Im still gonig to find out how i can fix it because i know this problem might come.

Is it my shitty sight or you have installed san andreas on desktop?

SAMP AND GTA DONT WORK

LOL Bulbfish!! Looks like we got another B. Sick here :P

Hey this is true, I haden't realized it. The game seems to be installed in the desktop folder of the admin account instead of in the Program Files folder, and that's why only the admin user can run the game, as it's the only user that can access to that folder.

*Ding!* seems like an explanation for your problems, sky.
OH NOES master of the obvious has spoken again, sry.
maybe try install the game in programs folder (on 64bit OS in the x86-folder) and open it up for all users.
-
I've meant who the fuck installs anything on the desktop, but yeah, Gryphus may be right :P
-
Okay guys same problem again i thought i could avoid this by creating a new computer account and re downloading but it came again. Every time i click connect a i get this same green circle loading thing but the game DOES NOT load at all. I keep clicking it, nothing happens. I'm fucken pissed now because i don't know if its my shit OS or something but i want to be able to access this game without going through all these issues
-
Seems like BUYING the game wouldnt help either! :P
Have you tried ramming your pc with a 3 wheeled car?
lolol nah.. think ur windows got messed up. Pretty old GTA thingy, had those issues many times aka when nothing but new copy of windows XP(or 7) fixed the problem. Thats like ur last chance or something? idk.

Do the following:
Uninstall everything that ever belongs to GTA SA, the Rockstar Games folder, the User files, erthing.
Then reinstall it, from the ground up,
install it in the x86-folder (if you have 64bit),
start in compatibility mode for Win XP sp2, save the mode,
limit it to one core (if you're processor has more then one core).
If that doesn't work something with your OS might be fucked.
-
have you tried deleting "gta_sa.set" found in C:\Documents and Settings\me\My Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files ?
-
shit , try to reinstall GTA SA + SAMP ...
