YOU + 2
Join LW with 2 of your friends on 29-11, 6 PM GMT.
You guys are the ones bring fun to the server, forget about anything else. Let's remove any other variables and deal with it like an online meeting.

Our goal is to hit 100 players.
Most of you guys can invite at least 2 players to attend such an event.
I see it happening on the server everyday, the idea is to direct this daily process to make it
happen at the same time.


What should we do to make this succeed?

Should make it friday the 30th and dont set it up to a exact time. Why friday? well thats when weekend starts none of you schoolkids have homework and most others are done with work for the weekend. Why not give an exact time ? well people get off from work usually around 6PM and have dinner or just sit down for a moment or what ever so i would advice to put the time to between 6pm and midnight (You are also dealing with other timezones for other people etc etc).

Regarding the date
You're 100% right about this. I got that idea at late night, I got excited about it, and you don't wanna see me when I get excited about an idea! It was too late when I figured out that it should've been set on Friday. All our forum users and JOKER forum users were already informed. We should be committed to the exact time in order to maintain players' trust when we do it next time.
The good thing about it is that if we're able to do it on a random day, we'll be confident that we can do it at weekends.

Regarding the sign ups
Sign ups are there to make our expectations realistic. Honestly, I do want players to feel committed to attend on that day.

Let's not focus on anything other than attending on that day and inviting at least 2 friends. I'll contact "agents" on 2 other DM servers tomorrow to spread the word more.


Those who didn't confirm their attendance, please do it!
Those who were invited by others, please try to participate and invite other players.

what will we do on friday the 30th? THURSDAY THE 29TH

are you planning to constantly host events? because i actually would recommend you NOT to do that. the plain old LW is what was famous and what people want back. maybe some races but nothing like car derby or something similar. new people get bored when you set up such events and just /q and join some FACK server with miniguns and hydras.

and maybe it is possible to bring the kill streak counter back for this day? because people love it and this will make them fight harder :)

Don't get confused! As I mentioned before, this date is already announced for many players through mails. We want to keep our word, next time I'll pay attention to this point. The only "organized" thing we might do is taking a screenshot. The event is about making use of the power of you.

I don't want us to get distracted by any details, let's just focus on one big thing that we agree about. This big thing will succeed if the ones reading this now move their cursor and ask 2 of their friends to sign up! Don't put random assumptions and move it!

Still not sure if I will be there. Just make sure, during the event, when it's really hot and people are having fun, to advertise that we are going to repeat it soon on a better day, and they should leave an email or something on the forums to recieve a notification. If someone really has fun, they will try to join it again.

Killing spree will be back, though its a diminished version than before. The decision to bring the killing spree back was made a few days ago and somehow the previous system disappeared. There wasn't enough time to make it as extensive as before.

ok it went quite good.

but there were a few NO-GOs

this constant spam of this "YOU + 2" ad in mainchat was very annoying.

also i warned you NOT to do events. this deathmatch event that you tried to host was an epic fail... ;D i totally saw this coming. people were crazy and for some reason you did not freeze them :o

but overall a big success and if we do this monthly it might become some "big thing"

next time you should host a race instead of some crazy event. races are simple to organize.

Bikedriver: jOjO didn't made a deathmatch event, he wanted to take a screenie. And if your referring to my attempts of making an event later on, I messed up becuz it was my first event I ever made :)

Anyway, I think it was a great succes! Many players joined, and most stayed for atleast a few hours. +99999 to jOjO :)

53 players blasted out of the regular low players count on the server. I'd like to thank everyone who participated, and I hope that the rest will be there at next time. Almost everyone who was well informed about the main idea behind the event was satisfied. Those who didn't follow up on the forum were expecting deathmatch.

Ups and Downs!
Ups:
- We had some of our inactive players (including staff members) showing up again just for that event. That's big!
Those included: V3locity, Popz, dugi, Faraday, Carolicious, Puberz, Slice, Bloodster, Generalhood, Burnz, Reny, Drugz, and more .....
- Most of players actually came a bit earlier than 6 PM GMT, I like this.
- Many players were still calling more friends while the meeting was on.
- This didn't happen on a weekend, the legend is dead!

Downs:
The screenshot! Some confusion happened while attempting to freeze players. It's more of a fantasy to ask players to stand still without using the freeze command properly.

Conclusion:
We didn't exactly hit 100 players, but we had a players count that we didn't get for months (if not for one whole year). Only 2 players were paused. Players who attended were impressed even if we didn't hit 100 players. The goal was big and what we achieved was still big.

Now is exactly the time we're open to new ideas. It's time for us to believe that Littlewhitey's is made by players. We're here just to make your experience better. Our biggest goal is to keep the 2 letters name alive, and this happens when YOU are enjoying it.

Other sa-mp servers often fought over acquiring the rights of the word "community". This concept that gives you the right to boost your activity in a randomly selected day. The picture is complete when our players try scripting for Littlewhitey's.

Remember when you had that awesome suggestion? Make it! and for some, ask your friend to make it. Take care! we'll only be accepting the best filterscript each month. Your script might be the best, but our community deserves the "bestest". We'll release it on the next You + 2 meeting.
