Title: LW 180 PLAYERS RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

SA:MP was down completly
LW is the only working server

we have 180+ players RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!

And i am frapsing.

The server had already restarted 2 times due to massive amounts of lag and the only logical conclusion that came to your mind was to INCREASE the available player slots?

Best part was that the server wasnt even scripted for more than 200 players so everybody with an ID higher than 200 was bugged and couldn't be killed. Just fantastic that you managed to bug the entire server during the most important 2 hours of the past 4 years.

If that wasn't enough it took you nearly half an hour to finally listen to me and start to kick these people. Yes you don't want to hear it but you did an awful job today (meaning: The person who made this decision about the player slots). You should listen to me once in a while, even if you think that you are in some way superior to me. I have at least nearly as much SA:MP experience as anyone in the admin team. And just lol @Nemesis' excuse that banning those hackers was far more imporant. How is getting rid of 1 useless cheater kid more important than getting rid of 80 (!) players with infinite health at the same moment?

Also your bitching at me for being such a "smartass" afterwards was more than unjustified. After all I was the one who pointed out, what was causing the bug. I didn't need any of your fancy admin commands to achieve that much.

But that put aside: I have frapsed nearly every single second of this crazy mess and I might find the time to upload some of it this week.

1. A few of the admins "smartass"' such as myself already figured out what the bug was before you even said anything
2. Even if you did say something, the server chat was crowded, a couple PM's would have sufficed, though I didn't get that
3. While you may think a few players with 0hp were causing immense damage, I counted roughly fifteen hacking related bans per admin in a very short time spam, from infinite shots to helicopter blades on the ground + airbreaking and armour/weapon spawning - While YOU may think this isn't a priority, it most certainly was
4. Bans in intense lag had to be certain, many players were just bugged or taking damage late, which is why although I was kicking the people with ID's over 200, I was focusing on getting the actual bans correct
5. You don't get to tell anyone how to do their job correctly, as far as everyone's concerned you have a complaint about absolutely everything and contribute to absolutely nothing, the way you think you're some kind of genius for figuring out why some players had 0hp and couldn't die is truly hilarious, you're not Benedict Cumberbatch and this isn't an episode of Sherlock. Yes we understand their was lag, but we were also being attacked and not to mention we were about 4-5 admins to 270 players.

Serious offenses that warrant BANS come first, KICKs second, and your ego comes somewhere around fuck yourself

Post by: Bikerr on January 06, 2014, 11:00:12 PM: Woah, calm down abit BikeDriver. Increasing the max player count was done because the server was bottle necking. For me there was less lagg afterwards.

Anyway, non of the ingame staff anticipated this, and we were ofcourse overwhelmed with all the reports. It was chaotic and a big mess, but why be bothered by it? All the hackers and foreign non english speaking players made it impossible to keep everything 'organised'. Just enjoy the rush and the scale of what happened man :D Be happy that Dugi made this happen in the first place :)

Not to mention that I would NEVER have even done the mistake to increase the player slots. It was the most stupid idea anybody could possibly come up with. Many noobs on the server made fun of the server script as it was just one glitchy mess at that time.

The 'motherfucking genius' was the first one in the entire sa-mp community to know how exactly to react to keep the server you can't stop playing on online. The guy who 'did an awful job today' made it possible for you to join due to increasing the player slots thus preventing the server to be full. The one that 'thinks he is somewhat superior to you' did this to ensure that also you can play on this server in the future, as a unique chance for a test run for the now online R3 fix for server security.

But you're right. You're really not a smartass. Making sure you can play here in the future was propably really an awful job. Shame on you, 'motherfucking genius'.

But if it makes you feel better I leave you with the feeling of having done a good job today. It is not like the server went empty at the same speed it went full, right? Oh wait.. thats actually the case. I am just mad that you threw away a good chance of getting more players. Its just the same way as before.. just frustrating.

Most servers were un-pingable including LW. Almost all of them showed "Required password". 1-2 minutes later LW was working again. I joined out of curiosity and shortly after me, the server was entered by at least 20 players a minute. It restarted 5 times if I remember correctly.

Sorry for being such a naysayer..

But anyway.. around 100 players sounds okay. As long as it's not 80 rp nerds.
