You probably have a virus, if so download an antivirus and do a full scan, it should fix the computer after a few hours.
Or maybe your laptop is full of dust and needs a cleaning, in that case just use vacuum and get the dust out.

+ You could download AVAST! Antivirus program,which i use for cleaning/deleting infected files.Should do a good job to your laptop,also.

I...knowed why! My windows was working correctly, Electricity cutted down unexpectly then the laptop want to charge, after it closed elictricity came, then i saw some changs happens
1) Black wallpaper
2)typed "This copy of windows is not geniune"

This is the "error" u get when your windows isn't legit.. The only thing you can do now is reinstall windows and disable updates.

It would be nice to know what Win you're running, and some specs of your craptop, processor/ram/space.
If it's on Win XP, reinstall XP.
If it's specs are shit, reinstall XP.
If it's on something higher than XP, reinstall Win7.

Don't forget to get to know your important hardware, at least by name (motherboard/chipset, audio drivers, graphics, touchpad etc) so you can download and install the drivers for it later. Even better: If you had a CD with drivers shipped with your laptop, use it.

Lastly but most important: Before you do anything towards flattening your system MAKE BACKUPS OF YOUR PERSONAL AND IMPORTANT FILES AND DATA ON AN EXTERN STORAGE DEVICE. I cannot re-iterate often enough how important that is, i've lost five good working gta_sa configs due to a rushed reinstall 4 days before the LWW.


Also, before you fuck around, you might wanna give opening the case and cleaning the inside parts and fans a shot. (pls not with water)
It would also be an idea to put new cooler paste on the CPU socket, you might wanna get a local expert to help you with that though.

Laptops all have the same problem:
1st month: Runs CallOfModernBattlefieldDeluxeGhostSniper on max with 999fps.
2nd month: Runs CallOfModernBattlefieldDeluxeGhostSniper on max with 998fps.
4th month: Runs 1080p video on 23fps.
1 year: Runs 720p video on 18fps.
2 years: Overheats if Skype and Firefox are open at once.
3 years: Overheats if Firefox is open.
4 years: Overheats.
5 years: Over.

PlaYa,i don't really see any other solution except buying a new one.Sorry man,but i think you'll have to save some money for a new laptop/PC(much better option).
If antivirus thingy didn't work,and also these suggestions from other players,then there's no hope in it.

So, your windows saying that it's not genuine. I have a clean solution for you!

1- Go to C / PROGRAM FILES / WINDOWS / SYSTEM32 and find WgaTray.exe

2- Now press ALT+CTRL + DEL and go to process and end the following process : "WgaTray.exe" (without quotation)

3- After ending this process, immediately remove "WgaTray.exe" from System32.

4- Restart PC

5- Tell if the problem is solved.

It worked for me when I was using XP. For your slow PC, I advice you to uninstall some application which you do not need or re-install your window!

1. Download Northon Anti-Virus or Panda Cloud.
2. Download Regisry Error Cleaner.
3. Run antivirus. Scan your drives and let it finish virus.
4. Run registry error fix. And click fix errors. It will take a few minutes.
5. Right click on my computer. There is a tab. Manage. Go to defragmenter. And click defrag. It will take 15 or less minutes to defrag a drive. Make sure that your chkdisk schedule is not on running. After defragmenting all.
Restart your computer.

The only solution I see is to reset/restore your laptop into factory mode or REINSTALL Windows.
There are so many ISO files of Windows just scattered around the web. Find one and download.
Then burn it into a blank CD using Daemon Tools. (You can watch tutorials on YouTube if you don't know how)

Or, if you don't want to do it, try these:

1. Download and Install an Anti-Virus software (I recommend ESET Smart Security 8.0.304)
2. Next, Download and Install CCLeaner (Watch some tutorials on YouTube on how to use it)
3. Scan your system with the Anti-Virus. Wait for it to finish. (It will automatically quarantine/delete all viruses scanned.)
4. After that, Open CCleaner and uninstall all unnecessary programs and files. Also, try to deactivate some programs that start during boot. (Like uTorrent for example)
5. RESTART

It worked for me and I hope yours too. My laptop lasted about 8 years until it was completely destroyed.
BUT, I still recommend that you restore your PC to factory mode. Just to be safe ;)
