I was just curious whether SA:MP can work on a Steam-purchased copy of SA? The game is on sale now and I have to make a quick decision. ;D

Read what i wrote again.

There is nothing pointing towards me owning an illegal copy of the game. Steam is not the only way to own a legal copy of gta san andreas.

I didn't claim you own an illegal copy, I've just asked. :-[

Since all licensed games are 2.0 and you didn't know you need to downgrade it to 1.0 to play SA-MP, I thought you could be a pirate. :p

Post by: Runi on January 04, 2016, 08:37:58 PM: My friend once experienced a problem while trying to play SA:MP, because he's got Steam version of GTA SA. He couldn't figure out what was wrong, so he gave up. ;/
