Title: Any Solution ?
Post by: BanJack on March 23, 2017, 11:35:33 PM
Hello,
I installed GTA 5 on my laptop,
It was all good before I tried to lunch the game. An error appeared, which is : this file is not compatible with this version of your windows......
I have windows vista , 32-bit
After researches I found that the game "GTA 5" does not work on 32-bit , it works on 64-bit
So, do any of you have a solution for this problem ?
Thank you :)

What's your PC spec?
Plus,Vista won't be able to run GTA V.If you can, upgrade it to Windows 7 or more.

gta v DO NOT WORK ON 32 BIT! DUH! so load your windows to 7 64 bit it will run if your PC meet the requirement. as myle said whats your PC spec.

running gta v in 32 bit is a bad idea. https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/grand-theft-auto-v/12455 (https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/grand-theft-auto-v/12455)

I bet your laptop wont run gta v since it has only 4GB of RAM it's not a gaming laptop and GPU there would be not good for V too.

You most likely need a new PC or Laptop. If you've been preinstalled with a 32-bit OS, chances are your processor is 32-bit. Check whether your processor supports 64-bit, if so install a 64-bit OS, if not get a new computer.

When we said "PC spec",we actually meant the "Hardware Specification" of your current Computer.

We can only tell if you'll be able to install 64 bit OS,if you let us know your hardware specifications.

The specification said the p8600 is a 64-bit processor, you could try installing a 64-bit version of win 7, but let's be honest, 2,4Ghz and 3GB RAM isn't going to run GTA V well. Your PC was last able to keep up with new games 2010.

Your Other solution is that You can buy a New/Used Xbox 360 (or any other Console). and play Gta V , san-andreas, Vice city. etc
Or
You can Upgrade ur pc, which will cost u a fortune to play all the latest games or ur desired ones.

I doubt your pc can run gta V. Your cpu is not powerful enough and your ram is not enough. Unless you have a very good nvidia gpu, I believe your pc can't run gta V at all.

Don't do that, its wastage of money. GTA V is not so good, test it, play on friend's PC or something else. It's really boring game.
