Update your VC:MP browser updater URL.
Open up your VC:MP browser, go to Tools > Settings. Then at the bottom, replace the updater URL with http://u04.vc-mp.org
After you've replaced the updater URL close your VC:MP browser and open it again, then try to connect to the server.

I don't suggest doing this, might fuck more things up.

Yep I did try doing that, I re-opened it, re-installed it, did everything I possibly could.

I tried the password as well too.
And I don't know why it says I'm connecting from South Africa.
So that's RIP for me lol :(

I've sent you a PM, I hope you don't mind reading that. :P

try to run vcmp browser as administrator and go to C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Vice City Multiplayer
delete all the folders identical to 04rel006, it'll re-download the rel006 and it should work.
-
It's working fine now.
Thanks Suri :)

read the message above that Suri wrote lol

how did you solve your problem ?
Actually what Suri did was connected remotely through TeamViewer on my computer, deleted all the VCMP files I had in appdata and all.
Reinstalled VC:MP and it worked.

I could've done that as well.
But maybe he did something differently, I don't remember much.
