i downloaded the program to play online but when i connect to the server the screen goes white like its loading but doesnt then i have to exit??? why is that

You should have posted this at the SA-MP forums not here, anyways try this, I think its your version of GTA thats causing the problem:

Use this to downgrade your GTA so you can play SA-MP, if it doesn't work go here and make a topic, where you should have posted in the first place you'll get more help here:

What server? Every server is different so you may have to register and login. If your talking about LW's, use /register Email password. Good luck and have fun!

it says my name is registered but something still aint working!  is it the same password i used for this forum??

No, it is the password you used in-game to register /login <password>

Someone else has probably already registered the name - try a different one.
