Littlewhitey's Server Easter Egg Hunt


Easter eggs have invaded the Las Venturas area! They come in  nice red packaging (http://img512.image$hack.us/img512/7953/dibujozhd.jpg) and are spread all around Las Venturas*! There are a total of 100 easter eggs, so what are you waiting for? Catch 'em all!

So.. how do I join?
You don't have to apply to join, just go into littlewhitey's server and try to find as many easter eggs as you can!

How long will the event last?
Either until the third one finds 100 Easter Eggs, or until the next Saturday.

What does it mean that I can't activate an easter egg?
Every easter egg can be activated only once every 5-30 minutes. This means that if you find an egg and can't activate it, it won't count as if you found the egg, so to add it to your total found eggs you will have to wait for it to become activatable again.

Why!! OMG I found 5 eggs and I can't activate a single one! It says that I found 0 eggs because of this! Fuck it!
Hey, we are trying to make this a real hard challenge. You have one week to collect eggs and we don't really want that at the end of the week all the top 5 people found 100 easter eggs each. If you found an egg and can't activate it, you could write the location down somewhere, and keep coming back until you are able to activate it.

How can I activate an easter egg?
You have to press the sprint and fire keys together while being next to the easter egg.

What will happen when I activate an easter egg?
It will add to your total egg count, but it will also start one of a total of 25 possible random effects. These effects include gravity changes, special vehicles, money duplication, or even money substraction, among others. So if you go to catch some easter eggs around, you better know that you are putting many things in risk!

Can I activate the same easter egg twice?
Yes, but it will not add to your total easter eggs count. This means, that if you really want to catch 'em all, you better keep a record of where the easter eggs are that you already caught.

How can I know who are the best pokemon mast.. ehem, easter eggs-catchers around?
You can use the command /topeaster

Who do I have to blame for all this mess in the server?
You can blame Slice because he made me think about this idea. Also blame the whole of the admin and moderator teams who kept giving me different ideas for the easter eggs effects and who took all the 100 easter eggs locations. You can blame me if you want to too.

Actually I think I found it earlier (like last night), but since this was the only location I kinda heard being discussed (suggested by you, Chainer), it wasn't a real challenge to find that. :P
This specific egg at this specific location set my hp to 1 and took all my armour btw.. try to figure how this ended lol. :D

I can't seem to find anymore. I stopped looking after I found 69 of em'.
 (I think there is more egg's outside of LV.)

And I got another egg idea. (This one is for [nx]bikerider.)

Are any in water? and are any outside LV? Obviously I dont want directions (unless your offering) I just wanna know how far I should take this seaching?!?

Indeed. It's chaotic enough as it is yet still fun :)

Aaand I got a little question regarding the location of the eggs: Are you sure all (but one) of them are in LV? Because (except the one which is in this special place where no egg is supposed to be ;)), I found one at the quarry. Maybe there are more at the village north-west of the quarry?

There is a tie right now, between Scott and Benny at 99 eggs.
Benny has to find the egg number 43, which scott already found, and scott has to find the egg number 47, which benny already found :D

Last night was tense, epic, you name it.
Benny was the first to reach 99 eggs and soon after I managed to find my 99th. We started asking around and found out something distrubing, something that couldn't be possible... That there were only 99 eggs! it was a joke! the 100th eggs hadnt existed ever and never would. How could we live with that? After all the searching, together, with noctis, alone, with our personal maps... how could it be that we could never get that cool 3 digit number.
Benny became desperate, but finally decided to go to bed, convincing himself there were no more eggs to be found.

Neonkiller was our hero, he figured out dugi's incredible fail and informed me quick and benny came back, eager to complete the mission he could not die without terminating.

This time however... it was different.... We were each at 99, one of us and ONLY one of us could reach to 100 the first. So we were informed that I had the egg that benny was missing and he had the one I was missing.. How could that be? we had a system? It had failed.. and now we walked alone (With Neon and Chainer specing us and chasing us around for laughs ofc).
After a while benny finally found his last egg, I was ok with it, but I still had to find my egg.. and that was the hardest task of the whole night.

Endless eggs we encountered again, getting Auto-OWNED by the admin/mod killer egg, becoming the egg, having to deal with invisible cars and getting sick of the staff skin were all things me and benny (who kindly decided to search with me for my 100th) had to deal with on the road. We even went to the outside LV egg with no luck.. but.. just before I was going to go to bed, he took me to a burger shot and alas

It was sooo funny, thanks to everyone who was involved, especially Zamaroth and Scott. Very cheap plan to get three more donators though :P

I'm totally thinking this should be made a permanent feature, of course with some slight changes:

Hey maybe you should keep an egg on the roof....
But instead of 30 minutes make it activate over an hour or longer.
I'm giving the idea but I think you people should decide on a time period.
Just be sure to make the KILL ALL ADMINS command a very rare or not available.

How about the only thing that the eggs do is Gravity, Kicks, And Leet status.
The egg only activates over a 2 Hour period. (In random locations. If possible.)
Invisible car is too much of a hassle. So no to the car idea.
