the 1 thing thats stopped me buying an xbox is that fugly controller, i much prefer playstations sixaxis controllers

well, depends what you're looking for?

i duno alot about xbox as i dont own 1 but ps3s have a web browser, bluray playback, backwards compatibility with games, and now have 3D support. also in the UK we have BBCi player, STV player and 4OD (online tv catchup services) available from the XMB which is cool

the things i dont like about playstation3 is;

1)  PSN, its not very comminuty friendly an no rules are enforced, theres no admin and ppl can say and do what they like unlike xboxlive where ppl get banned for being retarded

2) web brower, i know its a console for gaming but seriously why add a web browser that doesnt work? its pointless and frustrating, no flashplayer or java and a waste of time and effort imo

3) they removed otherOS on a whim

ill leave it to someone with an xbox for the other half, ive never used an xbox

Okay This is why i wonder which one i should buy:
Xbox..

+ The online service seems better.
+ The controllers seem to be very nice..
+ Better GPU

- Worse CPU
- I would have to pay for playing live
- Most of my friends doesnt play xbox360(Biggest problem)

PS3..

+ Free online playtime
+ My Friends have one!
+ Cooler games
+ Better CPU

- Laggy online experience
- Worse GPU

idk about the CPU/GPU specs for both or what difference it makes tbh, they both look good graphics wise,

PS3 controller is better, the Xbox controller is a little too big(even though I have huge hands) which makes it harder to control.

I like my 360, but I suggest you to buy the ps3 if your best friends got one and they playin online.

the 360 pad is really nice, to pay for playing online sucks



(allways loved the ps2 controller and never thought I would like any controller more.)
