Crossover
« on: January 20, 2010, 03:12:36 PM »
Yo, saw you posting Rage Against The Maschine videos in "Hip Hop", but it could also be posted in Rock/Metal...
But it is Crossover!
In the 90s Hip Hop began to meet Rock/Metal and we calles it Crossover. Bands like Rage Against The Maschine, Bodycount and later Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park all make Crossover music. It is not just Hip Hop or just Metal or just Rock...
It is Crossover.

I begin with my [WB] clanmate`s band "DA IMPACT", hope some of you like his band.
A live gig from V3`s City "BERLIN"
Da Impact - Shake Up Your Mind @ YOU 2008, Berlin

Here one of my favorites from the 90s:
Bodycount - Body Count's In the House

Among others, I liked a band called Dog Eat Dog back when I used to listen to grunge/independent/rock a lot. Here's one of their more popular songs from their All Boro Kings album. Might be considered grunge too, but hey, there's a sax and hiphop elements.
