Fool Player Count
« on: August 01, 2010, 12:39:25 PM »
Hey i was just wondering if we can fool the player count on our server?
Like it shows 20 players, maybe it can show 80 or 100?
I know it might sound stupid but it will surely attract a lot of new players!
And later on we might remove this trick!

And if it sounds really stupid then just dont insult me :p
It just banged in my head, and i posted!  ;D

It's good trick but would go against the SA:MP server license agreement. If you breach that then the server will be removed from the server list altogether.

hmm yea Disco sounded stupid but believe me it can work!

@Hazzard: Maybe we can add bots who can occupy player  slots or something like that which occupies slot, and not really fooling it?

Bots decrease the maximum amount of players. They do not increase the player count.

Think about it this way, if nobody has done something so simple (and cheap) up until now, it's either not possible or not allowed :]
