I know you didn't want to see +1 or -1 posts here, so ill post this.

i voted no for this one.

It might stop a few cheaters, but it also might attract less (new) players to little whiteys.
Gambling would be good for newcomers, as they only get 5000 $ for registering & most of the time get ass fucked at the pirate ship or whatever.
People have spawnweapons to kill others for money, but those bullets are gone in a second, especially when players are new and unskilled....leaving them nothing but a desert eagle and a fist.

Gambling gives (new) players a (safer) abbility to make some cash, buy a small prop, and start to grow that way.

I don't think players would like to play 50 hours with nothing on their hands....
Gambling >>> small prop>>> bigger + more props >>> decent weapon arsenal + special items and all that

Think of it this way, new player starts gambling. Loses. Has -1million and eventually quits cause he cannot do anything.
Another bad outcome. New player starts gambling, wins. Tries to go to the bank and gets killed. Quits mad at the game.

About the losing 1 mil thing, you first need to gain lots of gambling skill to place such high bets. And about the killing thing, shit happens. You can also earn money via the ship or properties and get killed.

I dont know though, Roach has a point. It makes it even more harder for new players to earn money, which is already hard in LW.
well dominator is still the fucked up forum whore he always was, i am glad that i never see u somewhere ingame.

The way I see it, those 2 cons are the same. I am for the idea or at least some form of implementation, I think 50 hours is too long but that can be decided if the idea is voted successfully.

Scott your idea is not bad just because I aim to get more money to record at least 100 k .. honestly what you can do 5 k if you are new player? :o If you get more money you might just get you to your arms more to invest in property and multiply your money quickly with a chance to try and casinos. Plus this for sure the new server tell me to put into the script if maybe an ATM inside the casino where you can store your money.  ;)

ATMs? I'm not crazy about putting ATM's all over the place but if you want to suggest new things, open a new topic :)

Yeah: losing all your money when dying is terribly newbie-unfriendly, frustrating and stressful, and I already said it in one of my very first forum posts when I was newly registered.
And Hazard's idea to lose also your weapons would do nothing but make things even worse.

Hmm no I don't like it. We shouldn't take another feature from newbies. Remove it completely or leave the way it is.
