VLC often had problems rendering 1080p .flv and .mkv here.

1080p lags occasionally on VLC but not to a degree where it would screw up the entire movie. Just a little lag sometimes. I've never faced a problem with anything else on it.

Yes, you're right, i had this problem too. Didn't bothered to ask someone if have this problem too, i thought it was my graphic card fault. So i switched to BSPlayer.

Anyway BSPlayer is a very good mediaplayer, never had problems with it.
I like hes searching automatically subtitles on internet when you open the moovie then shows you the results

never noticed any problems using VLC.

i like it because it doesnt give a fuck whether you display it on your main monitor or a secondary screen.

i also am way too lazzy to get used to any other tool

Windows Media Player comes with a sweet Windows Media Player Codec Pack, so it's definately Windows Media Player.

^(with Codecs) + Gom + MPC and you'll never have any Trouble..

I used to love VLC but its 400% Sound Fucked up my Speakers/Laptop's Sub-woofer.

So imho.. VLC is the Last player u'd want.. IT fucks up Speakers/Sound card real GOOD

MoHiT dude, if you are stupid enough to run this shit @ max volume with 400% amplifier ON A FUCKING LAPTOP then you really cant blame the program if shit goes up in fucking flames.

if i turn up the task bar volume, my speakers volume and set VLC to 400% then i probably die because the fucking sound waves would bust my brain.

this 400% setting is made for movies with very very very low volume, not to make loud stuff even louder, RETARDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

VLC has everything a regular movie watcher like myself needs. Never had any lag issues except with 1080p movies on my laptop, however it's so old that I don't actually even expect it to play 1080p fluently.

Im just stating the Fact that even though the 400% is for Movies or stuff with Very low volume, it'll still Fuck up the Speakers.
I played a Movie with very Low volume. ofc on 400%, played it many times and Noticed the Speaker issue. And i Just Gave you My opinion, you're the retard here judging People for giving their Opinion.
