Right theres a few options you can do.
- Reset bios (you got 2 ways to do this)
- Reinstall chipset drivers
- Flash BIOS (do it wrong you can go shopping for new motherboard, no joke)
Reset bios:option 1: To do this you can either enter your bios and look at the left side and choose set to (factory) default options or set to optimized options or something in that general direction.
option 2: This will require you to open up your PC. So first unplug all cables like power, mouse, keyboard and what ever else you got. Then press the powerbutton a few times so all the remaining static power has been removed from your PC. On the back of your power supply unit if there is a switch flip it so you are sure that you wont have any power running through your PC. Right now we got that out of the way openup your PC case (best way to do this is to put the PC on its side. Underneath your RAM and next to that square heatsink on the motherboard you will find your CMOS battery i want you to remove it. And keep it out for about 20 seconds (this removes the source of power that saves your bios settings)
After you cleared the CMOS battery and put it back in boot up your PC again and go into your BIOS and put the settings back to default factory settings or optimized settings or anything similar. And see if this fixed it. (dont forget to save your settings, usually F10)
Reinstall chipset driversDepending on which operating system you run. Go get the latest chipset drivers from the MSI website (select your OS first though) :
http://www.msi.com/product/mb/760GM-P21--FX-.html#/?div=Driver&os=AllFlash BIOSThis option is the most dangerous thing when it comes to software. As this is one of the few things that can actually brick your motherboard. Meaning if you flash your BIOS the wrong way you can go shopping for a new motherboard. As the other one will become useless and you wont be able to save it.
This will require you to have a floppy disk drive, a floppy disk 1,44MB, the BIOS flash files (usually a .BIN and .EXE but you got a MSI mobo so you will have a .HD0 and .EXE)
But before i continue here i want you to try the other options first. As this is the last method i know about.
