VR Desktop / Cinema - VC-MP test
« on: March 20, 2016, 10:03:55 PM »
Messing around with the oculus rift and wondered if it would be possible to somehow play vc-mp. So managed to set it up to record the game itself+desktop. It works in full screen mode aswell but in order to record I had to run it in windowed mode. Overall, text was very difficult to read but could be somewhat fixed by changing the font size/scoreboard size ingame. Same goes for nametags, they are very difficult to read at a distance, the rest is very playable though and after playing for awhile "reality" kinda becomes like a mindfuck.

Used "virtual desktop" to basically mirror the image from desktop to headset then mirror back to desktop.
