Crouch glitching is a variant of fast switching except the only difference is that a player crouches when doing so. Crouch glitching happens when a player crouches and fires a shotgun then quickly sprints away.

It's not a common knowledge, it's bad practice to ban people for things is not disallowed in the rules. And it should be stopped, this is real reason why this post here. It's not my ban appeal.
I'm calling the managers to solve this problem of administration.

Crouching and shooting has been disallowed for a long time.  You saw my name and decided to come in and try to mess with me, and it backfired on you.  I actually agree with you on one thing though - it should be listed clearly in the rules that crouching and shooting is not allowed (instead of falling under the "glitching" category).  I've suggested this several times in the past.

In the end you knew what you were doing, and you got banned for it after I warned you a bunch of times.  Not sure what you were trying to accomplish but if you wanted the rules to be changed, you could have simply brought it up in discussion in the forum instead of making an example of yourself by getting banned.  Seems kind of... counterproductive.

Anyway, you'll be able to come back in a few days.  I don't think 3 days will kill you, especially since the only time you ever come into the server is to either fuck up one of my events or feign ignorance and get yourself banned.

A lot of advice comes from players and fellow staff about how to change the server and make it better, and a lot of that advice is forgotten or ignored.  However, unlike what you're doing right now, it's not counterproductive at all because it encourages discussion and new ideas. 

Again, if you want a rule changed, this is not the proper way to go about it.  Try a different section.

I don't know why some admins are still under the impression that shooting while crouched is disallowed. Miscommunication, I guess.

Let's clear things a bit:

Back in 0.3z crouching and shooting with shotguns would cause glitches in fire rate as well as made it possible to skip the reload animation and that's the reason it was forbidden in the first place. The most easiest and simplest way was to disallow crouching and shooting in general, with any weapon, just to avoid confusion. This was clearly stated in the server rules at that time. Later AdTec_224 came up with a proper solution and made it so that crouching with shotguns was disabled by the script. We then decided to remove the rule because the fix was functioning properly. (See post: http://forum.littlewhiteys.co.uk/index.php/topic,17633.msg222810.html#msg222810)

When 0.4 came out it fixed the shotgun behavior while crouched so the server-side fix was removed. I don't think we ever actually announced this change properly so perhaps some admins, especially those who were not here during the transition to 0.4, didn't really get the information. Like p4t for example.

Our bad. Use this post as reference for future cases to do with the matter.

Edit: Also everyone make sure you don't confuse the two terms "crouching" and "crouch glitching" which are two totally different things. Crouch glitching is still disallowed as clearly stated in the server rules.
