Endless falling bug

I am familiar with this bug, i know it fixes automatically after many hours or even a whole day,but i would like to know if this bug can be fixed manually.

I've seen many random players facing this bug, although I'm not sure what might cause it.
Some say that they've reinstalled the game + the multiplayer mod and it got fixed, and then you have others who waited for hours and it got fixed by itself.
