How to: claim a piece of land! [Claims]
« on: August 08, 2019, 10:29:14 PM »
We currently have an anti-griefing plugin which allows players to reserve a piece of land for building on in the server.

When a player has claimed a piece of land no other player will be able to damage anything on that land. This includes destroying blocks, setting them on fire, creating explosions to blow holes. Animals on the claim will also be protected aslong as they are fenced in and do not escape.

To create a claim you will need:

1x - Golden Shovel
1x - Stick

Find a piece of land you want to claim. Equip a stick in your hand and aim at the ground and press right click. This will show you whether or not someone already owns that land.

Assuming the land is free we will then make a rectangle shape to decide the area of your claim similar to the image below:

Take the golden shovel into your hand and stand in one corner of the rectangle (any corner will do) and right click with the shovel on the tile you are standing on:

Then walk to the opposite corner and right click with the shovel again:

You should then see a message in the chat that you have created a claim. You should also see golden blocks around the outside of the rectangle which shows you the boundry of your claim.

You can also place down a crafting table to automatically claim a piece of land:

If you are still confused check out this video:

If it didn't work there is usually a few reasons:

- The area you are trying to claim is too small and you may have to make it a bit bigger.
- The area you are trying to claim is too large and you do not have enough claim blocks.

When you join the server you will have 100 claim blocks to begin with. This means you can claim an area of 100 blocks to begin with. For each hour that you play on the server you will gain 100 additional blocks.

When a claim is deleted the objects within the claim itself remain.

Commands

/AbandonClaim - Deletes the claim that you are currently standing in.

Trust commands:

/TrustList - Lists the permissions for the claim you're standing in.
/Trust - Gives another player permission to edit in your claim.
/UnTrust - Revokes any permissions granted to a player in your claim.
/Untrust all - Removes all permissions for all players in your claim.

/AccessTrust - Gives a player permission to use your buttons, levers, and beds.
/ContainerTrust - Gives a player permission to use your buttons, levers, beds, crafting gear, containers, and animals.
/PermissionTrust Grants a player permission to share his permission level with others.
