Yes, some of the shots get passed through the shelves. There can be different cases, sometimes its done intentionally and sometimes not done on purpose. Unintentional shots are not that much of a problem, however they are being discouraged.

In this video, J0nas did that on purpose, however I am going to issue a warning this time.
