Hey,

Anyone of you who plays Far Cry 2? And if so, what do you think of this game?

I made these vids while playing multiplayer, I know, I'm not that good at it, but I think this game is the shit. This was just a snipermatch, but mostly you play guerillawars in the bushes, hearing footsteps all the time. In my opinion one of the better multiplayer games that really has a creepy element, especially when you play in the dark in a village with tons of hiding spots. Also it includes vehicles like cars and boats with guns on it. If you play this online let me know, maybe we can play some time.

i do play this game oftend(gpu to low end) but i do like this game. it is fun. on mp(securerom locked me) i cant go on mp it asks for cd key where i do need it for to go ingame on mp. plus it wont ask for cdkey on instaltion.

Yes you need original game with unique CD key in order to play online.

i do got the original copy off far cry2 but it still wont detect. i dont know why this happends to me/to the others. where u cant reg the cd key to acces the mp mode.

I played it on the 360 and it was a pretty good stealth shooter. But there complete lack of willingness to script friendly AI was ridiculous, you get shot at by your side when you are doing one of their missions and the excuse given is that every single mission is 'undercover' so that your own side doesn't know you are working for them which was lame.

Wanted to like it but thought it was really boring in the end, like a mix of Crysis and STALKER but not as good as both games.
Although the online looks decent but I don't think i'd ever try it.

Mhm, malaria. The game is quite good. I wasn't huge fan myself, but im sure there are loads of people who really liked it. Was fun to do LAN parties with it tho

It's a pretty unique game, that not anyone can appreciate. But if you like guerilla tactics I think you like it. The map I played in the video was just for sniper, but I can assure you that there are epic maps, with lots of houses, car wrecks, bushes and all kind of stuff to hide. It creeps me out every time when I hear footsteps and I don't see anyone. The multiplayer mode is far more exciting then the single player.

Yes that's true. I just made a new vid because the others are a bit boring, and don't show the real action that Far Cry 2 has to offer. I hope some guys here still play this game sometimes because it's really fun and it could be interesting to play against some of you.
