About removing posts
« on: June 18, 2011, 01:55:52 AM »
Lately some of you are removing posts that aren't even breaking any rules... This isn't a kids playground these are supposed to be forums of a deathmatch community. Honestly come on an insult or two is hardly scratching troll behavior.

Also some people have taken their time into posting and answering to certain remarks, and then without any explanation they disappear. Unless it's pure spam could you at least tell people why you're doing it?

I guess you're mainly pointing at the posts that I deleted at this thread. Each user can PM me and ask me about why his post got deleted, and I'll give an explanation, but the fact that it is deleted will not change, unless if it's discussed with other staff members.
Posting why each post got deleted there does not make sense, especially that I deleted more than 15 replies there, mainly because they were off-topic and heading towards personal issues between some players.

It's all circular. Everything goes back to where it started from, only to overlap in a new cycle. The connection is not lost, and the division is not broken.

Yea some of my posts where deleted aswell, in the dont be a negative player thread, they where deleted by jOjO, only reason i know this is cuz i was checking who was online thingy and i saw jojo was in that thread at the time and 2 minutes later he was deleting messages it said.

I asked for an admin to lock it like 3 posts ago and it didnt happen then those 3 posts came and asked for it to be locked again cuz a flamewar was about to start and then 5 or 10 minutes after the post 4 messages got deleted. Ive asked v3 to take a look at it before those messages got deleted and he didnt see any reason why it should be locked but he did took note that ive warned him. So i dont know why they got deleted afterwards bt jojo then anyway.

Also you should have thought better about making a thread like that anyway jOjO i knew from the start of that thread it would start into a flamewar. Wasnt it by Enzo or gryphus or me for that matter it would have become someone else. Your an admin now surely you would have known such a thing. Or got warned by it by other admins.

I know, deleting posts doesnt make the problem go away its just turning a blind eye. And basicly i see jOjO delete alot of posts...

That thread he made didnt reach its goal. The only thing it reached was the point of an all out flame war. Hence why those posts got deleted and locked.. While all he needed to do was lock it and leave a message that it was enough. Deleting the messages and then locking it will only confuse people.

That thread he made didnt reach its goal.

The thread that I posted was read by several players who improved the way they deal with others (even if a little bit). For example, a player who had a discussion about it with Rizla, and I was online. I don't need to get more proofs, because I achieved the goal and the message reached some players, which is the end goal.

The posts were deleted because they're off-topic. Asking Gryphus to leave the server, accusing him of lacking respect to scripters' work, and telling devil that he has unfinished business (which is leaving the forum) is off-topic. Deleting off-topic posts is not a new invention.

I didnt ask him to leave the server.. And if u read it right he told me to leave the server... And if u dont believe it i still got the posts backed up... And yea he does lack respect not just to scripters but to everyone. Hence why alot of people hate him so much. Devil has unfinished bussiness. He stated clearly in that 1 topic that he was leaving LW and doing his goodbyes yet he still lingers around.

Deleting those posts didnt solve anything just so u know. A week or month from now new threads have been created for it already. Its pointless. just like you being an admin.

When we deem a post to be unnecessary or offensive and we delete it we then have to delete the post responding or quoting that post as it they will no longer make sense. It is likely that some acceptable posts have to be deleted for this reason.

Thats the thing ive asked v3 to look at it and he did. And he responded with. I dont see that its needed to intervene. Now how does that make v3 look? when jOjO questions v3 who has been an admin far longer than jOjO has been. If u asked me i think its a bad choice letting him be an admin. But i guess alot of people get their admin once they start to go inactive. Just to go active again and then later on go inactive completely. Lw has come to an end thats fact.

I shouldnt be talking at all? Ive been here far longer than you have. And all was good till you and ur minions came here and started bullshit. And youve been here like what ? 7 months? maybe 8. Lol you clearly havent looked around theres tons of servers who offer those features. You have more reason to stay? Dude all uve been doing is start suggestion threads on how to make this server more into your own image when everyone clearly wants u gone and even tells u to go. Yet u linger around like the cancer you are. Btw no one needs reasons to stay. We all got just as much rights to stay. So yea pls fuck off like everyone keeps telling u to do.

Lock this thread now like ive predicted as it should be...

but your constant exertions to make this server a place for your mind look to me like a lack of respect to the scripters work, as if you were just the opinion that its a great bullshit, for which i honestly do not know why you are still playing here.

I believe you have some unfinished business.

Explain it to me, please. I want to understand it.
Why you want to change these things?
Why you try so hard?
Why you don't simply find a community that suits you better then us retards and masochists?
What keeps you here?

Tell me, because i don't understand.

What makes you think you could find satisfaction here?

Delete my reply please, I decided I dont want to talk about this topic really. Sorry

Why got Jet UB' post deleted?

Since I am not agreeing with leaving such posts at such a thread, this thread won't lead anywhere, because you on the other hand think that these posts (or other posts) should've stayed there, which is a dead end. Management members can check the deleted posts, read the first post at that thread, and decide whether such posts were suitable to be kept there or not.

not just that thread but in general.. people have different opinions and they just get deleted because somebody disagrees >_>
At least I think I justified my share of these posts.

Your message arrived, management members can check it and unlock this thread if needed.
