Going to Music High School... But you're still my man! Just don't tell me you're listening to this new pop/techno shit new gens are keen on?
I listen to almost everything and anything. From movie scores to rap, from metal to pop, from trance to a cappella stuff and everything between. I dig what pleases my ears and I've always personally hated the narrow-minded idea of devoting to one or a few genres only. Especially if you're a musician or even consider yourself as one, music as a whole can give you so much if choose to accept what it has to offer, even the new pop/techno shit.

I fully understand your way of thinking, even though I'll have to disagree at some point. We've all got different tastes, people got rights to listen whatever they want to. What I've hated the most, always have and always will, is that they still haven't got just a little of good music taste... Nah, they're aiming at the most retarded music ever, which is not even considered as music, in the world of musicians. But, I won't continue with this as I'm trying to avoid any further discussion regarding tastes, because they simply can't be changed.
My point here is to make you understand what will be tolerated and what will not be tolerated as music in "musicians circle". While people stereotypically continue thinking that we only listen to classics and shit, we're up for any kind of music that doesn't go beyond its limits and beauty, in other words isn't some untalented farmer who had no clue what composing neither singing was in the first place and starts making his own music with terrible voice, melody and lyrics. Pop has absolutely lost its meaning as it became only sex-drugs-naked related genre, you just can't deny it. The "narrow-minded idea" you've mentioned is a lot better option than listening to every bullshit this world has come up to you know nothing about. BUT... as I said i won't say a word about this matter...
Once people realize what has the world fallen onto, they'll start banning such.
