Oh thank god I didn't buy that game. (At one point I was real close too.)
I did like the game for the customizations though. GTA needs to take example from that.

Yeah I know about that project. Seems they haven't done anything at all. There aren't even Sample videos of their attempts.

The site says they were initially taking data from the live servers to then re-emulate for their server. Now that the official servers are down thats more than likely gonna effect there progress greatly I believe. Aswell as being a developer down.

I regret not taking pictures of my character from Beta. They would make you drool in all the effort that was put into him. I tried desperately to unlock the Desert Scarf from Fashonita or something like that. Turns out it was a contact that unlocks it. By that time I had already ran out of (Free) RTW points. So I couldn't get it. =/
Bummer. I do hope they get the Private server up soon though. Like as in the next month or I'll lose interest.
Shame this game had so much potential it's just the Gameplay and Physics sucked hard.

As you all know the official APB servers are now officially offline and unsupported. This will effect the way that Action District is developed because we are no longer able to gather data from the live servers. We are not the only APB emulation project that is ongoing and we are in contact with almost ever effort to emulate APB to bring you the best and first in emulation. We are currently working with the data that we have to see if we can move on without the live servers. Also note, Hex has been removed from the development team due to a poor attitude. No its not the end of the world, Action District was around before him, and will continue to be.

Even though it's free to play it's gonna be fucked around with. Meaning that players can buy/rent out better gear for real cash to get an advantage over weaker players or get on the same level with more higher level players as opposed to just levelling up and unlocking weapons.

I'm afraid they'll fuck up APB big time.. I like how RTW handled it, it was new but it worked good (the RTW points system).. I liked their ambition, their idea's and stuff.. we'll see..

I read somewhere they are attempting to bring back old character data (perhaps even everything), that would be awesome
